He was terrible, although despite popular myth Mane had played a few decent games for us up until then. Mayuka came on as sub that night for Mane with about 20 minutes to go and was even worse, id much rather have Sharp of the bench than that useless tosser that for sure.

When i first saw it i thought it was a wind up. Sums up the egotistical lunatic.

I think we are saying the same thing in different ways actually 😃

Okay, so despite being here nearly 5 months by then he still wasn't used to our way of playing at the Norwich game first game of restart, but by half time of the very next game he was fully up to speed with out way of playing and it was absolutely nothing to do with the performance of Yann Valery who he replaced in that game after 45 minutes and kept out of the team for the rest of the season. Got it.

Don’t forget for everyone who saw it had disaster written all over it there were some who claimed he had a goal scoring rate of one in two.

Callum Slattery - Official: Signs for Motherwell
Turkish replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
It is strange, as you say he was in very good shape so not down to fitness. I wonder if it’s a similar situation to Hoedt. He also came back in really good shape and gave Ralph a bit of back chat preseason, something about not being given a fair crack under him and was shipped out straight away. -
Loose lips sink ships.

Callum Slattery - Official: Signs for Motherwell
Turkish replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
It’s a bit strange as last summer slattery was training at golden ring to get himself as fit as possible for the new season, then put straight out on loan. That doesn’t sound like someone not knuckling down, although maybe there is more to this than seems. -
Sworn to secrecy on this one I am afraid Badge, everyone involved under NDA, nothing I can say for now but rest assured when I am you’ll be amongst the first to know. No Q&A please as I can’t respond to every single message and PM

You are still a respected source hypo, I know from experience some on here love it when you’re snippets are wrong, keep posting, most itks aren’t 100% right all the time. Except for me who has been 100% this summer.

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m

Probably a saints fan too with his parents naming him after Bill Beaney. -

Dan Seaborne was a bit of a helmet by all accounts. He should probably be in there ahead of Wood

looks like hypos ITK credentials have taken a massive hit

What a team we’d have had though if all the players Les and Ross nearly signed had. Jimenez, Maddison, McGuire, Promes to name but 4. Such a shame we ended up with Carillo, Elyanoussi, Lemina and co instead.
-
Exactly. The walker peters not playing for 5 months because he had to get used to how we play was a load of bo11ocks. Valery was preferred and given every chance but didn’t take it. So not quite obvious as our friend patronisingly claims above
-
Even when football started after lock down and Valery started he with him on the bench?
-
Have they? He’s only made 4 permanent signings and two of them in the last two weeks Djenepo looks to have ability but has spent more time injured or suspended than playing since he arrived. Jury very much out on him. Apart from Adams golden spell at the end of the season a lot of fans were willing to see him sold and replaced this summer. Walker Peters couldn’t get a game ahead of Valery, when he did you wondered why that was the case he looks a good signing so let’s see how his permanent move works out. I’d say one poor signing and 3 yet to convince to be blunt.

One more won’t hurt then will it

Called it 😄

I watch a lot of German football, I saw him last season in a German cup game v Kaiserslautern whilst visiting family. He was awful, terrible first touch, well off the pace, gave away a penalty and got sent off. Awful player
-
Agreed. The club should be giving us daily updates on all these important issues. I am outraged that we haven’t had an update on if we are going to be retaining the services of a player who hasn’t made an appearance for months. Personally I’m furious that I haven’t heard at all about how Kanye Ramseys loan spell at Shrewsbury has been going. They really do hold us in contempt don’t they

Poor lass not having her dad around on her birthday. Still the two wins in those three games would have helped soften the blow.
