There's not even any credible links are there, a couple of reports that we've show an interest in but nothing concrete at all. What an absolute shambles.

"stuck in a hotel room" Sounds like he's isolating. Must be Covid.

not really the same, DIa was a free transfer and signed on a one month contract. Not a record signing on a 3 1/2 year deal. Their contribution was pretty much identical though.
-
Surely one of the worst signings by any club ever.

That way when we get to our preferred eventuality we know exactly what we are doing each time as a wise man in said doing exactly what we’ve done 21 times before is exactly the last thing the enemy will expect you to do this time.

I see we are at the bottom of the short list of players we’ve scouted for years honestly we have.

I’m not pretending. I used to share all my info until a few bitter individuals started to try to prove me wrong, yet as time past people realised I was right all along but the bitter ones couldn’t let it go. I started to post a few other snippets but yet again the green eyed monsters reared their heads so I stopped. My ITK credibility goes back nearly two decades, it was me who revealed that we were wearing yellow and blue in the 2003 final before it was in the media on the old saintsforver site for example. I outrank everyone on here for long and credible history but it’s people like you and the other non-believers who have denied the rest of the forum my insights.

How they tables have turned, they wanted to be us not that long ago https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fRFn6gadGWo

We don’t want him. The geniuses on here don’t believe in loans as it just improves a player for another team

SOmething is seriously wrong when even clubs like Burnley, Palace and Watford have more spending power than we do. I know some will quickly jump up and down screaming but Watford went down and others will scream that we are skint. Both of those things are true yet it's quite incredible we are in this position having profited from sales year after year.

We're the only club that has made a profit from transfers the last 5 seasons yet still dont have a pot to p1ss in. it really is incredible how badly run we've been. I notice those repeating the "we are a well run club" mantra have been quite lately.
-
You can only go by past evidence like you say. it's really not been since 2014/15 that we have delivered a decent transfer window, addressing most of our issues with quality players. So given that we've had 5 consecutive years of shambolic windows i'm not expecting that to change in the next 6 days.

If you want to joke go to the muppet show. This is the place for serious football talk. Any deviation will not be tolerated.

I understand the club are confident of bringing in the players we need. Matt Crocker is relaxed about the situation.

yes, one of his parents died a few months after he joined.

"we tried really hard to bring players in, but it's a difficult market, not easy to get deals done"

LOL every year they say this year will be the worst winter on record
-
My apologies, it was the other relentlessly clueless bore, Adrian.
-
Yet you want us to sign Walcott noqw in his 30's who cant get a game at Everton.
-
Going well down the list of players that fit our profile and budget. Just another typical saints transfer window

The thing about it is though it’s so obvious what our problem is. Fonte wasn’t the greatest defender but he was a leader and organiser, all the players we’ve had since haven’t been that. It’s all very well signing young players but they need a few older heads to help them, especially in a position like central defence. I can’t believe that in 4 years there hasn’t been an experienced player available that can do that job which could have played alongside Stephens, Bednarek who whoever. Bedanrek is a reasonable defender but he’s not a leader, Stephens is good on the ball but cant defend and we’ve been though Hoedt, Vestergaard, Yoshida, Caceres, none of which have been anything like the answer. Let’s hope Salisu is the answer but I fear we are once again relying on youth in a crucial position
-
In January it’ll be 4 years since we sold our leader at the back. 5 Players and Over £50m spent and we’re relying on a 21 year old to be our savior. It beggars belief that we’ve screwed up such a key position so spectacularly
-
clearly Salisu has been brought in as a starter but without seeing him difficult to say the sort of player he is although reports say big, strong, quick and powerful which is just what we need. The future will be Salisu +1 Short term who should form our centre back pairing? long term who is the partner for Salisu?
-
We will win, Ralph will say that the performance shows how good our squad if and he’s happy with it despite us only bringing in a last minute loan signing from a club we’ve never heard of. Everyone will applaud and say how great it is we give youth a chance, that we can’t afford anyone anyway and the January transfer window is only 3 months away, let’s assess what we need then.
