Hospitilsations have dropped from 2500 a day at the end of January to about 100 a day in May, halving since the start of April. As they always said the vaccine will protect against serious illness, its doing that. If you want a true trend on infections then according to the government data on the 7th May the seven day average was 2311, 7th April 2733, 7th March 5524, 7th Feb 14298, 7th January 53283. It is going in the right direction.
