Nothing really. Just a footnote to their interest (if its true). Just don't see Virgin Media as particularly "Saints" myself. But ultimately, like a kit, its fairly irrelevant. If they pay good money then fine.

Wanted what sorted? Talks about the future? Talks about a new contract? Confirmation what he will leave at the end of his contract? A new contract being signed? Confirmation he isn't interested in Everton? The problem is that nobody really knows what "it" is and you can't force Koeman to sign a contract and we don't know what other talks he has had. If he has said he won't sign a contract at this point in time then what is there for the Club to communicate? Minutes of the season review meeting?

Virgin Media would be an odd choice. No obvious brand linkages and generally considered a shoddy company in terms of service. Also a Sky competitor. Not to mention crap name on a shirt. That said, as a fan the main consideration is how much money a sponsor provides.

Think he meant talks about the future were definitely taking place this week and that if those were sufficiently positive for him to want to sign a new contract then that side of it doesn't take a long time. He also said though that its one thing talking about ambition and another thing doing/showing it. On that basis he may likely want to see what we do in the summer before committing. Ultimately the Board have probably asked him about a new contract and he has (IMO) probably said he is happy to stay next season but doesn't want to sign anything right now. Who could blame him for that?

Before this season he had no red cards for us, so maybe this year is the exception and the others the norm? Indeed, for a combative player his career disciplinary record is not a problem. Can't recall any particular free kicks conceded by him that have been overly stupid and costly either. In fact, I would say that over his time here he has largely been available for a high percentage of games. Despite being an aggressive player he doesn't pick up many injuries and we have never needed to worry about his capability to play 90mins or play three full games in 7 days.

That is correct, but the goals in the 2nd half were quality. Away from home we usually were more of a grind out a result team so that game stood out to me. At home we probably bettered that but not sure we did away.

Praet's Agent has been working overtime for 2 years hyping him for a PL move. I would bet this is more of the same.

Yeah, possibly the best attacking game in the MP reign. The Jay Rod goal was utterly class.

Goes against the grain of the thread somewhat but whilst those players don't have European football next season they have played in a domestic and European final this season. We knocked ourselves out before even making the group stage.

Good option for any team at the type of money will likely be able to get for him. Hard to sign any PL proven players with capability to improve for less than £15m which is probably what he would cost maximum.

Eh? Edit: Just saw someone else mentioned Bertrand. I think they actually went for him last time when Rodgers wanted Bertrand. I was genuinely meaning Moreno is woeful and Im sure LB will be one of Klopp's first considerations because he is a massive liability.

They will definitely be in for another LB this summer.
