This. We don't have the depth that Hull or QPR do for example. We have one PL keeper, 1 LB with no pro apps, one rookie striker, a manager who likes wide players and we have basically Isgrove who couldnt get into Peterborough's team, and thats about it in that area.

His penalties were good but would have been nice to see a bit more variety in the technique, maybe the odd stuttered run up or chipped shot. Was a bit predictable at times, amble up, smash it in the bottom corner, grin at the fans and give Lallana a piggy back.

One of the only PL teams now not to sign anyone, the only team to have lost three top players; and our first two signings it seems will be replacements for outgoings rather than an addition of quality vs last season. We need on average one signing a week now until the end of the window assuming Morgan and Lovren go. I think we will end up making the replacements but won't tackle some of the other areas. For example if Lovren goes we will obviously bring in a centre back. But we needed one anyway to replace the hapless Hooiveld. So will we go and get two?

Its a team without Rodriguez, Lambert and Lallana ( a midfielder ) thats the problem. Our centre midfield is ok but out wide is terrible and we have no attack to speak of currently.

Out of any of the players Lovren is the one we should kick up the most fuss about. He only joined a year ago and we have massively boosted his profile. Deserve to get a big fee for him, and to be honest anything north of 20m is a great financial deal for us.

Add the odd injury in and that isnt enough. It wouldnt create enough chances and wouldnt score enough goals putting a lot of pressure on our strikers (Gallagher at the current moment). Obviously we will add so the question is a bit flawed, but as we stand of the players training at Staplewood it is more a Championship looking squad, centre mid aside. Of course, we will add.
