Ive only been on both sides because I have reacted to what happens at the club rather than having the same opinion regardless. But yes, you are quite right. Almost as if you are experienced at this game BTW go on other Clubs forums and you will realise how good this site is.

Agree. Everyone is a Saints fan and wants us to do well. It would be dull if we couldnt comment on our squad until September.

Most of what I have posted regarding player exits has happened so not sure what the problem is there? Its all football and Saints related, might not be your opinion but its hardly overly farfetched stuff. How is this thread any better than those you name? Its barely Saints related and a high horse view that your opinion counts for more than anyone elses. I think he has overreacted having seen the training video - that squad probably is relegation material, but there are players still to come back and signings to be made. I wouldnt think many would argue the team currently training is not PL ready, but there is obviously a bit of time. Do need additions though, and not just to replace outgoing, but to address the weak areas last season. So far the targets are clear replacements for outgoings rather than addressing the weaker areas - so I will watch with interest how many of those are actually covered. We were a minimum of a GK, CB, Wide midfielder and, without JR, a striker light last season and that has obviously worsened with departures.

Think he is more creative attacking midfielder than winger tbh. A passer more than an explosive player. Could be wrong though.

Not meant in a derogatory way, just that on the business side they haven't actually signed anyone without Cortese being there and Im sure he was heavily involved in all our signings because thats the type of character he was. Any deal of that size seems to take a fair bit of time so will be nice once the new regime have one under their belts.

Obviously nothing overly imminent. These deals sometimes take a bit of time getting over the line, and the board lack a little bit of experience in this domain assuming NC was always heavily involved.
