A team needs a mix of attributes. His strength and power arent possessed by anyone else we have. At a very young age and first season in a big league he has done well and will learn his role.

I would just make two changes for this one. Hooiveld in for his power at the back, and Wanyama in midfield.

Surely the harshest infraction in SWF history. Plenty of posts are called waffle. Its quite bizarre.

Clever management to get players involved whilst still going through fairly comfortably. Huge, huge games though. Attendances would not have been impacted had we played a full team.

Sad to see. Burnley, Yeovil and Sunderland (away) crowds were lower than all league games this season. Despite reduced prices. Yet fans think these games were more important than the league games and have been goading the Manager because of it? Lots of fans keen to go to the final but none of the games before - dare I say fans disrespecting the cup before the Club did? LOL.

Better chance of course. But still a very slim chance of winning it. Wasnt like we were in the semi final. And seeing as we have made changes in every cup game for about 5 years I am suprised so many didnt see them coming.

Only the same as Lovren being called up by Croatia. And both will clearly be fit, they have probably been in contact with Saints too.

Best part is that its almost like people think if we had beaten Sunderland we would have won the Cup? Chaos theory.

Shaw, Lovren and Schneiderlin could all start for an English CL team. Aside from Shaw its hard to tell if there is genuine interest. Key with Shaw is who behind the scenes will be persuading him to stay and telling him the reasons not to go. At the moment its the Manager who won't commit his own future, and an Accountant bumped up to Chief Exec who is there short term. If Pochettino did decide to leave then I could easily see interest in Jay Rod and Lallana also. Would be hard to keep some of these lads unless they feel the club wants to continue to grow, which nobody knows at this stage. This why the offield stuff needs sorting ASAP. The players are entitled to know the plans as soon as the season finishes because they have been sold the club under Cortese, and its only fair they know what it will be like going forwards before the likes of Morgan, Jay, Lallana, Chambers, Lovren etc decide what to do.

Would settle for zero signings and keeping our best players. In reality Shaw will go so left back would be a massive position to add in. Schneiderlin may also feel its time to leave, especially if he continues to be ignored by France, so another central midfielder would be a priority. Would also think Clyne will start getting fed up at being a sub due to the great form of Chambers. In addition Cork would only have one more year on his contract, so we should look to extend that, whilst Jay Rod is due a new deal to keep him here. Sadly, I think the ownership stuff will come up again, and wouldnt be suprised to see a slightly frustrating summer window, with poor replacements brought into replace the quality which will leave. Of course I hope not though, but hard to see we will be anything like as ambitious as last summer.

Scored a vital second goal away to Hull in the Champo season too. Had a really good consistent spell that year. Was certainly better than Fonte for large periods.

It has been for years. It was under NC. The summer will be crucial to see what the true aims are, but generally people want businesses to succeed.
