Not started any threads about Puncheon this season. Would have kept him but don't see it makes a huge difference and not overly bothered (hence why we allowed him out). Not started any threads about Sharp although fully agree he isn't PL quality and we did the right thing by letting him go last year and this. Based on the above it would seem my opinion isnt too farfetched seeing as the club got rid of Punch and Sharp. Obviously did start this thread about Cork - but again not saying we should sell him, just that he might want to go on loan as he isnt playing for us at the moment.

Which players are these then? All I have suggested is that seeing as he isn't playing perhaps Cork will want to move out on loan soon? I wouldn't suggest that is too far-fetched, and isn't me wanting to boot him out. If people didnt start threads then the forum wouldn't really work....

For me there is pressure. If we are genuinely a top 8 side then we have to go there and look to ger something. They arent playing well. However an injury in the one area we have no adequate backup has screwed most chance of a good result.

Also worth suggesting that his chance based on PL form according to Hodgson actually came during a very quiet period for him in a Saints shirt. Based on this season he just needs to get his head down and work to stay in our team.

Sadly, I think he will just miss out. End of the day Rooney, Sturridge and Welbeck are definitely going if fit whilst Defoe will always be in and around and despite what we think I reckon Carroll will interest Hodgson. Right now... I would say 30/70

Its an honest mistake. I am one of those who moans about Guly when he isnt playing and always had trouble differentiating Chaploid and De Ridder.

What has Ross McCormack got to do with Dale Stephens?

He may do to get games. Although if Morgan or Wanyama got injured then I would think he is certainly a better bet than either Davis or JWP in the deeper role.

Loan move on the cards for the lad? Needs to be getting regular football and rarely makes our bench - thoughts? Have to feel a bit sorry for him, but would do more if we were 19th and he still wasnt getting a look in...

Its because the game actually means something. Too much Intl football lacks tension and meaning.

He will have to but has been woeful in the PL for us and Sunderland, and hasnt got the benefit of regular match practise anymore.

Davis is an embarassment at PL level so AB missing any games would be a huge blow.
