United and every other top side will have had dossiers on Shaw for 4 or 5 years, it says so in The Nowhere Men (excellent Mike Calvin book on football scouting). If you were a top PL club looking for a long term left back then Shaw would be your no 1 choice because he is going to be a superb player. Im pretty certain Saints will get 25m plus when we do eventually lose him though.

If ever there was a game to get an early goal this is it. Likely to be tough conditions against a team that would snap your hand off for a point. They will try to make it a scrappy, niggly game. Early goal would hurt them due to lack of attacking options and would hopefully setup a Saints win.

The Return of Tadanari 'Chun' Lee
Saint Charlie replied to SaintJackoInHurworth's topic in The Saints
Were they not allowed to eat together when Lee was training with the development squad? Its not like he has just been released from Prison Davie. -
Good level of Prem experience there, but not a lot of excitement. Vaz Te and Jarvis are inconsistent but capable on their day and a CM 3 of Noble, Diame and Nolan is streetwise. We should win, but they will try to disrupt our rhythm, niggle at our attacking players and try to capitalise on set plays, especially given our weakness defending them.

LIVE: Mauricio Pochettino's pre-West Ham press conference
Saint Charlie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He is quitely assertive I would say, certainly not a Manager who would take crap off anyone, and certainly able to make tough decisions. Nearly everything he says in his press conferences is on the money, and he does have more of an authority about him than Adkins did I think. When you look back at some of the stuff he just to trot out it was great as a fan, but when you hear him saying the same stuff at Reading its pretty cringey. -

Good squad option. Hard to see him starting a league game without a big injury crisis, but he has some decent attributes and is quite a versatile attacker. -

Clyne had a disrupted pre season, nothing more, nothing less. Fully expect Fonte to continue, has played well this season.

Just read it. Not sure why it would be a problem for me to do so. Don:'t think Ive commented on the U21s at all this season?

The last few weeks have been more than he could have hoped for really, and he will know that. At the end of the day he has scored for England twice at Wembley, versus Scotland and in a qualifier. If he doesn't play another minute for his country then Im sure he will still be ecstatic about what he has done. Rightly so.

He is the kind of character that could have an absolute blinder. Seem like nice guy?

http://mobile.whufc.com/default.aspx?s=news-display&aid=3453082 They would be in trouble, only Maiga as another option. They will get Carlton Cole back now I would think. Not much choice.

Yes Duncan.

I don't Belize you.

J Rod has to start IMO. Only forward player with pace and direct running.
