  1. A couple of things. Firstly, the black kit is our best away one for ages. Secondly, Ramirez seems to be composed in front of goal for a midfielder (finish tonight, QPR and WH home last season) and also is capable of some excellent assists. Instead of focusing on what he doesn't do well why don't we look at the positives because once he finds a little more consistency we have a cracking player on our hands.
  2. Sounds like Gaston has played well tonight which is good.
  3. Guly seems to be hugely out of favour if not injured. That lineup good enough to win for sure. If they don't the selection cannot be blamed.
  4. I doubt any first team starters will play and none may even have travelled. Shaw and Lovren certainly haven't.
  5. Forte is so ****e and has such little self belief that L2 is probably the best he can hope for. I'm suprised nobody has come in for Hammond but getting rid of him and Sharp should be possible. Barnard and especially Lee, on their wages, will be very hard to find takers for so we will probably end up paying most of their wages when they move on loan.
  6. Only allowed up to 52m wage bill under FFP though I think. No idea what ours would be currently however but something to consider.
  7. Moses would use up 40-50k of wages, perhaps we don't have that much room left in the 52m?
  8. MP didn't sound like Osvaldo was lined up to play at all versus Barnsley when asked after the game...he would be better staying on the TG with the other first teamers to learn their games.
  9. Seems the Agent hawking him around. WBA paper saying he is a target for them (they love a loan) and numerous other PL teams. Doubt we are any more interested than the others. As an aside, we must be close to the 52m wage bill limit.
  10. If we won all those other home games we would have been on the fringe of Champions League. Of course a team won't win all their home games. I'm sure we will win more this year than last.
  11. Thanks for posting the video S-A
  12. More strange was that Wanyama was positioned on edge of the box and JWP marking someone inside the area. Wanyama should be one of our best defensive headers. Second corner their roles were reversed.
  13. The first yellow was a joke, never a card.
  14. He will be fine with a week off. To think though, that JWP and Osvaldo got the same punishment as Gardner did for that challenge is just bizarre.
  15. Source is The People so it probably was made up.
  16. What was lacking until the second half was the player dropping into the hole and being harder to mark. That is what provides the key threat in the system but first half we were easy to mark in a virtual 4-2-4 when attacking. Not convinced that Lambert could really play that role as he doesnt have the ability to beat a man that Lallana and Ramirez do. Plus at times when defending you have to track runners from that position. Yesterday Lambert was the striker all game.
  17. Clearly far superior to the previous programmes. Decent effort.
  18. I am very concerned by this.
  19. Not giving the foul against Ramirez near the end when he was totally bodychecked was just bizarre.
  20. Cracking finish for a very marginally offside goal. Only player in front 4 with any pace and will stay in the team.
  21. ----------------Gazza--------------- Chambers---Maya----Jos----Fox -----------Cork------Davis------ Isgrove--------Ramirez-----Guly --------------Mayuka-----------
  22. Shows just how much of the ball we had, completely controlled possession, just need more clear cut chances. Loads of positives
  23. Doesn't seem so.
  24. Every time you think he is the full package already he shows that he is still learning and certainly isn't a starter for a Man Utd or Chelsea. Will probably do him good though.
  25. The only player that ran directly at Sunderland. Looked good and played some nice first time passes to open the play.
