Not sure. I've never been overly impressed with Graham - has scored a few decent goals but Swansea don't seem overly keen to keep him and for the 5m fee they would want it wouldn't excite me at all.

That was the game that Crouch was also awesome in, and apparantly why Benitez signed him for them. The fact Prutton had so many U21 caps also shows why we are so far behind other nations. Energy and commitment can't (IMO) act as a replacement for skill and technical ability. He was our Chaplow of that era.

Worst attribute was a lack of anything resembling composure for me. Whether it was a simple pass or an open goal (WBA away). Did come across as a nice guy though. Strachan should take some blame for his career IMO as he signed him for us then played him out of position nearly all the time.

Thought he needed to stop doing that Radio Show and concentrate on playing better football myself. Was one of those that got built up on here because he was happy clappy after games. Has experienced a steep decline to his career really.

Barnard would have linked up with Lambert just as well vs Arsenal. The key will be whether he can ever get involved with Uruguay who are better than England. That would be a good sign. IMO he will never earn a cap and is no better than Duncan Spedding.

This is very true. Another Chelsea signing in Hazard who was acclaimed as one of the most exciting players in Europe, wanted by all the top sides has also been inconsistent this season. Plus if you read any interview with Foreign players coming to England they nearly always say how different it is with the pace and physicality to all other countries. I would be far more concerned if Ramirez didnt look like he had the ability to be a success.
