It's funny hearing/reading WH fans convince themselves that Cole on 40k a week and Chamakh are good signings.
-
Left I think. Leaves Fonte as right footed, Astori left and Yoshida both.
-
This. Does actually sound like this lad is a decent player too.
-
Ryan Doble and Ollie Lancashire will be bought back to fulfill it.
-
Why? Wolves got 14m for Fletcher and 11m for Jarvis. Can still make a profit on someone like Ramirez.
-
Better to spend and make sure we stay up then!
-
Imagine if we go down after spending all that?

Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?
Saint Charlie replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Morgan doesn't get the credit he deserves IMO. Has totally changed his experience at Saints from being miserable and labelled "one of our worst ever signings" to a very vital player looking at home in the Prem. -

Would have thought he might be in the mix, certainly being watched. -

Passion and bite. Exactly why Chaplow should be in the side! -
Good for the County but not the City because he lives, breathes and shops in Winchester.

Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?

So 46% of posters rated Paul Wotton better than Schneiderlin. The football knowledge of this board really is something to behold -
Chaplow has played about 7mins in the Prem in 5months and Del Ridder not much more. Both nowhere near good enough and will leave this window, certainly Chaplow will. IMO Martin is below Seaborne. 5th choice now, 6th once we bring in another CB plsu actually Stephens might well be ahead of him.
-
True. Sell him to L1 with Butterfield, Chaplow, del Ridder and Barnard. Main problem for Martin is he had played less than 20 games in his pro career. Needs to get games however and wherever if he is going to fulfil the potential he has in some form. Should forge a decent career in the game though, certainly a solid L1 player I think.
-
Good move - now lets loan him out to L1 where he will actually get games...

Aquiliani was too lightweight and a bizarre choice but as very Italians have played in the Prem its not like there are stacks of failures. There are the obvious big successes like Zola and Di Canio and some that havent done as well like Dossena, but I would think a decent player like Astori should be able to adapt pretty quickly if he is able to be signed. Historically lots of the Italians have stayed in Italy because they have several big teams. Im sure if the likes of Pirlo, Maldini, Di Natale, Del Piero had moved to the Prem at their peak they would have been every bit as good. Good players adapt.

Getting games in real matches (not U21 in front of 50 people) is vital for players like this. It is only a good thing.

Actually these are the quotes from Forren's Manager, might not be Fulham but its more than agent talk and worthy of printing: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8378461/Vegard-Forren-looks-set-to-leave-Molde-Norwegian-club-have-confirmed -

Redknapp targetting the likes of Tim Cahill, Robbie Keane and Jake Livermore to save QPR. Some greatly inspiring choices there. Excellent use of worldwide scouting networks too. The first two would be great buys if it was 2005. -

Ultimately, if Reading signed Sharp now or a player of that ilk we wouldnt be very worried. As others have said, he has been around and scoring goals for 3 or 4 years consistently but no prem teams have ever come in for him - there is a reason why when the likes of Graham, Wickham, Bothroyd, Sordell, Morison have all made the move infront of him, and few of those are exactly top players. -

WH are trying to redo Diame's contract to take out the clause. Would need to pay 3.5m and then offer 60k a week to have any chance. Seeing as he was available on a free last season (and perhaps has been slightly overrated due to a couple of good performances) I think Saints will pass. -

Pointless discussion really seeing as Sharp isnt here and Jay Rod is. I hope we sell Sharp so that people stop bringing him up every 5mins. Have a listen to any NA comments recently about him - he isn't coming back because NA doesn't think he would get any games for us. From the horses mouth. -
Sounds like there is definitely a deal to be done, and seems like the Finance won't be an issue. More a case of persuading him to come here rather than join another Italian club. Over to the Don...

Answer to the OP is No. Also absolute rubbish that Ramirez plays best when no AL.
