  1. I wasn't meaning for him to get to the byline necessary but I can't remember many times when he really advanced past Lallana - which also would create space.

  3. Also requires them to get forward more when the wide attackers move inside. Suits Clyne perfectly but not sure re Fox. He seems hesitant to get forward at times, maybe under instructions as Richardson often bombed on.

  5. Do agree, Fox has brilliant delivery. If he hd a bit more energy to get up the pitch he would be fantastic. Look at the goal JR scored in the Arsenal friendly - superb ball in.

  7. Yeah im not sure how the deal works but think the sites are pretty standard across the country apart from a few. Maybe we won't get one like those links as we havent as yet and as you said first rule is that it needs to be usable. Once ours does load it is quite clear and as someone said above, its just a place to read official news, but the linked sites you can barely read.

  9. Not sure if anyone has been onto any other teams sites recently but a lot of them have changed to a new supplier and are almost unusable, absolutely awful. Pages don't load or take ages, articles are chopped about, things appear on top of each other - the Pboro Chairman on Twitter just said he is mad about it. Anyone know what the situation with ours is? I like the current layout and it would be annoying if we move over. If anyone wants to see what I mean check these (it might be on certain browsers): http://www.theposh.com/page/Welcome http://www.stokecityfc.com/page/Welcome

  11. Agree as realistically with only 3 games left it looks like the team for City will only contain two new signings that start - Jay Rod and Clyne - with question marks over probably four of the back five (Clyne excluded).

  13. Massively still need as a minimum one quality CB (better than either Jose or Jos) and a wide player who is a real threat to the opposition. Reckon we have spend circa 10-11m so far and need to spend that again on the above with maybe another CB too. Next two transfers in 9excluding a dev squad keeper) will decide our fate IMO.

  15. Another good idea would be a poll at the top of the page asking who you would most like to see banned from SW. The 1/3 posters with the most votes get banned (they can have their fiver refunded). Surely seeing as we pay our money we should get some say? The fact that Alpine Saint wouldnt even make my top 3 says a lot about how the forum has gone recently.
  16. If it true then would imagine he is for the dev squad and incase anyone wasn't sure Gazza will be the no 2.
  17. No - he will only move to be a 100% starter.
  18. Wouldn't do any harm to bring in a promising young striker as this seems to be an area that isnt well covered within the development squad. There is only Hoskins and I don't think he is quite at the level needed.
  19. This. Can see why we were keen on Lens as he can do exactly that. Hopefully its a good sign that things have gone quiet. I could see de Ridder going out on a short loan if we did bring in a wide player. Seem like he just needs a run of starts to get some rhythm.
  20. Nixon on twitter said saints have enquired about laods of players but not put many bids in as eyt while we assess options. Good start to the window with 4 good signigns but need to make another push now for another 3.
  21. Two successive promotions would say thats a crass statement?
  22. http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football-sport/why-celtics-beram-kayal-is-out-of-southamptons-league/ Out of our league apparantly.
  23. Its going to be d. To be honest its easier just to boo him.
  24. They are signing the very average James Collins from Villa instead.
