Millwall fans absolutely raving about him both as a solid defender and the way he carries the ball forward so effortlessly - something that would not have fitted into RMs death by a thousand passes mantra. Most confess to being amazed that he couldn't command a regular starting spot in our useless defence and they have a point. Let's hope he comes back and is a first choice next season.

Agree but, traditionally and certainly prior to the failed vanity project, we have generally done better when we are set up and play in a way that gives our opponents more possession. We concede so many goals when the opposition launches a fast break on us after turning over possession. Maybe less is more as they say.

We had 52.7% possession against Newcastle.
