It's clear that the Dutch fans massively outnumber us and I'm fairly sure most of the neutrals in the stadium will be rooting for the Netherlands.

Us England fans start each game hoping it's the one where the undoubted array of talent at our disposal clicks and we play decent football and win with a flourish. I'm not sure today is the day but we live in hope.

Do we know that West Ham are the only team interested in signing KWP? I'd be very surprised if that's the case.

Not sure how West Ham hold all the cards. Do they want KWP? If so is he a better player than FD with more Premier League experience? If the answer to both questions is yes, which it surely must be, how does that equate to West Ham holding all the cards? I don't see the logic.

A manager who knows what he's doing would have Palmer as one of his first picks.

Agree, would potentially be an excellent replacement for KWP. The two seem quite similar in that they are probably happier going forward and are not the strongest in terms of ball winning. Hope we hold out for a decent wedge for KWP and don't allow ourselves to be bullied by those who want him.

Dallinga looks decent. Goals with either foot and some headers too. Don't have a clue whether available or what he'd cost but might be worth a punt.

Don't know anything about him but looks good on his skills video which includes a goal scored from his own half. Likes a tackle and interception and seems to have a good passing range. Only 20 and a reasonable size. Could be decent alongside Downes (if we manage to sign both).
