However finances may dictate. Surely we will be in better shape with the big earners out of contract this summer.

Surely the key to all these issues are the wages paid to players. These have to be reduced. We have some big earners coming to the end of their contracts. Hopefully we will still be in the championship. But we cannot carry on paying the likes Euell the money he is on next season.

regards to Wootton warming up. so what! if we had scored he would have been brought on to shore things up.. Imagine if he hadnt been ready to come on. why can we give wotte a break. I dont really like him or his appointment but there really is no need to moan for the sake of moaning.

Im a bit more optimistic with the return of saga (god be good again) and if the centre back lives up to expectations. He sounds exactly what has been missing from this team. Lets hope he is. Come on Saints! Come on Alpine give us some optimism!

Rubbish : Jan cant possibly know the players in this country to get us out of this mess. We are in relegation fight and we need players with fight to get through it not light weight poncy youngsters with no end product. We need to grinding out results. So what happens next season if, and its a big if, we stay up. Some Big Earners contracts are not renewed and will finances look ok. Will Lowe contiue with his kindergarten policy. Or will be able able to sign up some more experienced players. I think i know the answer. He will see it as an oppurtunity for southampton to be more profitable and stick with his ridiculous idea.
