I watched stoke versus portsmouth yesterday at fratton park. NO IM NOT THINKING OF BECOMING A PORTSMOUTH FAN. The thing that struck me about both sides was the sheer physical Strength and size of the players on both sides. Stoke are massive. The portsmouth centre back pairing where also huge not to mention Bouba Diop and sum of the subs where incredibly tall. Why do we never seem to find any africans to bolster our centre back slots. I would love a couple of undiscovered ibrihaim sonkos or abedoulaye fayes. They must be out there. Why do we always end up with one of our CB being short Baird/Perry? Where our we scouting currently?

Im very frightened this season. The attendance last night was terrible. I didnt go as £25 is a lot of money for a more than likely disapointment. I think the more worrying thing in all this is that the two people responsible for getting us into this mess are responsible for getting us out. Lowe/Wilde the buck stops with them.

I dont rate any of our central defenders at all. Killer included. Come to mention it i dont really rate the fullbacks either. We are ****ed.

Poortvliet got it so wrong today. I dont see cork as CB. Lancashire had no need to make that challenge. 1st goal was pathetic. 2 goal offside. We played well considering we had 10 men. Those asking for a plan b should remember that we only had ten men today. Im all for the bringing the youngsters on but cannot help feel that we are trying to bring to many through at once. In the good old days we brought through maybe 3 youngsters at a time they intergrated with senior pros and developed well. We seem to playing youngster for the sake of it. When they may not be even ready/Good enough. I would like to see Stern John to start against qpr and Wotton to replace Gillett. Mcgoldrick can play wide right as he is crap just off the front man. DOnt shove Lallana out there.
