great performance and team effort yesterday, reminded me of when Leicester won the league with their lack of possession but counter attacking goals. Thought stephens and benders were great in the middle, I like stephens as he is our ball playing CB and plays nice passes out of defence. One note I made sure I wanted to mention here was the amount of physical contests JWP won in midfield yesterday, thought he was really great and the mentality was what we have been missing. The other was the amount poor passing Hoj does in midfield, his accuracy yesterday was 63%, some of his balls were terrible yesterday. I like what adams gives us up front. A CF who can hold the ball with his back to goal and bring in runners, thought he worked hard. Obafemi took his goal well and was excellent at hassling the CB's they were hating his pace. I thought Redders had his typical redders game, didnt beat his man too often, blamed everyone else for his mistakes but he finally took a chance to score a 1 on 1 (2nd of the match) and took it, hopefully if gives him some confidence again as some of best chances keep falling to him (thinking newcastle 1 on 1). For me Armstrong was the MOM though, his direct running from the right, his incisive balls and his constant desire to look up the field rather than recycling the ball gave us the quick directness we have been missing this season and didnt give the oppo defence and midfield time to reset which created space. Anyway stoked with the performance, please let us get another win v palace.

No substance what's so ever but Andreas Christensen isnt playing CB for Chelsea and I think he is behind Tomori who is behind Zouma and Rudiger, he needs game time before euro championships and is Danish so Hoj connection. Wonder if chelsea would do a loan ?

Dunno might be a option now, last year in Jan Genk were in the mix to win the title, this season they are mid table and just got beat by anderlecht who are bang average. They are only in the europa Cup now after getting knocked out of the champs league. With how much we tried to get him before I can see them more willing to cash in and give the guy a opportunity to earn big money compared to what he's on now, otherwise he could become disgruntled.

Agree on quantity but only 1 of them is above our record signing. Decide the system, invest in younger players for that system. A present we have some not fit for purpose players who aren't effective playing this system.

Yeah he has looks like a key piece of our jigsaw. He intercepts balls so he can launch counter attacks. is fast and tall and is physical (no more long balls towards cedric from the opposition) And based on this clip he prefers direct or slide passes over crosses. I think that is important based on Che at Brum last year he preferred that style of pass to get his goals, it could mean him and Danny unleashed a lot earlier.

bummer was browsing the EPL stats and he has 2 assists in 416mins and is our top assist maker in the team. JWP played the most minutes at 1350mins and 1 assist. Interestingly errors leading to a goal shows Jan leading the way with 3 !!
