But as the OS clearly states he's now back in Japan........................

If there was something on a dodgy rumour site saying we were signing Messi, Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo someone would post it up on here........

One loss can't undo all the good work from 2011, it was a great year to be a Saints fan.

Turned out to be a good day. Stretched the lead a bit just when it had dwindled to a point. We played good crisp passing football, but Nigel also seemed to have worked out a bit of extra width would undo Palace rather than passing it around completely like we normally try to do. Morgan and Cork were brilliant today, broke down everything and created good attacking platforms. Guly took his two goals well, and looked a lot better than at Nottarf Krap. Jos and Jose were composed and commanding. Lambert won a lot in the air and pulled the defence away from Guly. Lallana looks to be getting back to his best. De Ridder looked good, fast and committed despite a couple of wayward crosses. Frazer and Fox provided extra width and good accurate balls. Fox had Zaha in his pocket. Kelvin had nothing to do.

Our support was decent, and theirs was certainly no better than ours. They were completely silent after we scored until the equaliser.

Going to start slipping down the table if we can't beat crap teams away from home.

Just not our day.

****. Sort it out Saints

Bristol City seem to be having the better of it. Not looking good.

Frazer has really improved this season, strong and has a good delivery. It's good to see us with two fullbacks who can whip the ball in. Think Cork had a really good game too, never let Brighton get on top of things in the middle of the park, in fact the whole midfield did really well pressuring and passing.

He's got a real work ethic even when it isn't really his day.

It's funny seeing the Brighton fans in meltdown. Well deserved win, deserved scoreline. Only one team came to play football, and it wasn't Brighton. I thought we were composed in the face of some cynical and defensive play from the Gus bus parked in the Brighton half.
-
The way they're taking this defeat hardly makes them seem macho, that's for sure. Not a big fan of the 'does your boyfriend know you're here?' chants, unoriginal, stupid and boring when we had enough to sing about in any case.
-
Yep, respectable showing for one of the smaller clubs in the league. Think it's vaguely cringeworthy that they're so proud that they're taking up to 1700 fans though.

What side of the door? Just interested in seeing which perspective you're coming from. I guess either experience is more valuable than a purely media based point of view.

I can see how a more military set-up might be worthwhile with Young Offenders, give them discipline and routine.

Parc is a private prison so don't think that it's representative of proper prisons. These places are staffed with private security guards and so to ensure some level of discipline they ditch out lots of perks. Some private prisons have telephones available in cells. Today HMP Birmingham (Winson Green) was given to the same private security firm who run Parc so I suppose outrageously good conditions could become more common.

Nigerian rapist allowed to stay in UK as he has a 'life' over here

With a Master's degree and a steady job he sounds like a good example of a rehabilitated former young offender. -
Listening to a lot of Gary Moore stuff at the moment, both the 90s bluesy stuff and the 80s hard rock/metal. Whatever genre the man was a guitar god.

That last thing doesn't look very nice at all. The rest looks interesting.

Never a penalty, a disgusting dive by Derbyshire. We deserved the win, two goals against the run of play for Forest. They bossed us in the second half until Chaplow came on, but we would have been robbed if they'd got a point. We've been the best team in the first 6 games considering Brighton have had easy teams to play.
