Hopefully the England side will be revamped. Hodgson did well getting a poor side into a hard to beat unit, but too many players just weren't good enough. The side needs new blood, and Rooney needs to know he isn't an automatic selection.

It's probably worth taking into account that a lot of English people are of recent Irish descent (as all the English players who have played for Ireland illustrates). It makes Ireland easier to care for than other countries.

Sounds like a very good move. Palace are a good footballing side who have brought through a lot of good young players in recent years.

On their match thread some deluded cockney **** saw some empty seats at St Mary's!!! Others thought we were singing 'Are you watching cockney scum?', rather that p....y scum. They just seem to be a bunch of deluded, self important ******s.

To be fair Cork has been very good for us this season. He's helped the midfield step up a notch from last season.
