It's a matter of statistics over what you actually see with your own eyes with Guly. Yes he scored goals for us last season and got the assists, but at times the guy didn't know what a football was. He would walk back from offside positions, give up when he was being tightly marked, complain when it wasn't going right for him. I always remember the Hull game, which first kicked off one or two of the Guly Defence League on here with threads like 'Lay off Guly'. The first half he was worse than awful, second half he got the equaliser - at the second time of asking, it must be said. I'd like to think as a Premier League club we would have invested to the extent where we have strength in depth, so that if he does put in a **** poor performance, someone else can come in with no problems. Unforunately a lot of people refuse to comment on Guly in such a way. Why? There are people that can't stand one of their boys getting criticised, or don't like to hear a different opinion expressed, and so immediately intervene and berate them.

Tim Henman is still there, in response to an earlier post - he's being paid £200,000 for his handful of commentaries over the next two weeks. £200,000 for the one time world number four tennis player who did nothing but disappoint. Most of these threads ARE pointless. They're always full of people who say that someone we've briefly been linked with is either good or bad, and 90% of them have NEVER seen them play. If they have it's fleeting appearances. It was absurd on Twitter how there were so many people ranting on about Rodriguez when they'd barely seen him kick a sodding ball and how he cost too much, but then it turned into euphoria when one urchin photographed him being unveiled under a tree. My thoughts on Sivok? Barely heard of the guy, he's apparently wanted by a La Liga club which is no indication of how good he is, it's an indication as to a couple of scout's thoughts on him. Do we need more midfielders? Maybe. At least if he is a free transfer then there can be no arguing over his fee.

Well you say that, one Celtic fan I spoke to said it wasn't like that. They liked him as much as we do for his personality but competition for places was high and he just ended up out of favour and when he was needed, he unfortunately got injured. It's their loss if you ask me. Top defender.
