A lot of clubs are following suit and ditching the reserves. Burnley did it the other week, in favour of the developmental squad. I think it's the future, personally. The fact that clubs choose their own opponents, dates and times etc, helps out a great deal I would imagine.

Fulham fans weren't bothered in the slightest that he didn't sign for them permanently. He'll get a few goals I'm sure but is a few goals worth breaking your wage structure? Don't think so, personally.

Balance it out. Did he do more harm or more good? Harm. Ability wise how good is he? Not very good. Hence why I don't like him.

No no no no no no no no no no no no no. He can ****ing well stay in Newcastle. Him and McGoldrick are the stuff of nightmares. I'm never going to forgive nor forget his woeful performances - especially given that he constantly bloody moaned when he wasn't being played and was awful when he did play.

Still haven't forgiven Leon Best for being ****e in his time with us, or for the own goal in the play-off semi-final, or the penalty miss in the same game. Would rather he didn't join us in all honesty...

Don't really know what the big deal is about Surman. Yes, he came through the academy and was a decent player, but is he really someone to get misty eyed over? I fear it's another case of Saints fan = must have him, must be a good player. I'd also like to think that he might not even get in our side anyway.

I agree, it is. In this case it's Pilchards though and he knows a thing or two. When Burley first took over he managed to film his first training session and get it to us on Saints Forever.
