  1. A bid from the Pompey Supporters' Trust? I nearly PST myself laughing.
  2. Think Ulrich is doing time or on the run. Although... His crime was related to payments on cars...
  3. I've got a TomTom. Led me completely the wrong way once and after I had finally found my way out of the narrow country path that led to someone's house near Hursley, I had an accident. I wrote off my car and lost my licence as I'd only had it for about six months, oh and I also had to part with £85 in fines at a court appearance in Aldershot. So thank you TomTom for leading me the wrong way, I would never have been on that road to have the accident had I not been led the wrong way in the first place.
  4. I can tell you how much reliability. None. It's an account that just churns out what is already being reported. There's dozens of them. Don't trust any of them. They've obviously got it from the Sun.
  5. He's got big boots to fill with Collins leaving for Swindon.
  6. Get Marco while you can! http://www.football-italia.net/20239/still-no-juve-deal-verratti
  7. Well, he's about as tall as one of the Wright-Phillips brothers, so presumably he's quite quick. Kolarov is a bit sluggish so I reckon that's not a bad idea.
  8. Please, this isn't George Burley going ahead without enough defenders and about a million midfielders.
  9. Hang on, who's arguing against it? It's more of a debate over whether or not it will happen, is it not?
  10. You imagining is entirely the problem. You ARE getting ahead of yourself when all you've got are some drawings with no detail. You've also chosen to interpret 'Our future?' positively as in 'yes, that is our future'. Equally, being an open question it could be a negative response.
  11. Holden has had a particularly nasty and by the sounds of it, career threatening, injury. One person on a rumours site put that one up and its since been retweeted by other rumour twitter accounts.
  12. This isn't a redevelopment. These are drawings. You're getting ahead of yourself again.
  13. So when attendances dip as games are televised, which I believe is a proven fact for a lot of clubs, that's just coincidental is it? I think I'm also right in saying that attendances dipped when televised games weren't in HD ten years or more ago. Whilst I'm there, not everyone's streams stop. Anything else?
  14. So you're all assuming that these drawings (and let's not forget that's all they are at this point in time) are final, to scale, have been drawn up by an architect, are practical, are okay as far as planning permission... If you're sure of all factors like that, may I suggest you are being slightly presumptious. The facts, as of 14:25 today, are that we have some drawings and nothing else. Speculation is what a forum is for, but this has already turned into 'this is fact' 'no this is fact' 'go on prove it' 'here's your proof' 'that's not proof'. A fair few people are going to look very silly in the future depending on what they're saying right now.
  15. So to sum up then, people have called Turkish nasty things, we have some drawings and speculation. My fiver is well spent.
  16. Bit risky to assume either way what our attendances will be. The world has changed since 2005.
  17. The one time I could afford a season ticket, I bought one. It was the 2005/06 season, so we'd just been relegated. Brilliant. We played some terrible football and 90% of the time never looked like winning. Even better. Then there was the fact I was lumped next to an absolute head case. He really was absolutely mental. I've not had a season ticket since but I'm hoping to be able to get one this season and am faced with a dilemma. Having worked for the Beeb I've had a halfway line view for the past year and nothing beats it, but no one so much as raises their voice. So do I risk sitting next to another day release mental patient or pay more for a good view but have significantly less atmosphere? Tough one. I quite fancy the idea of sitting behind the dugout, but I'm guessing those seats will have already been snapped up.
  18. The Amex looks like a building site. I realise they're relieved just to have a ground to call their own but after all those years of planning they could have done something a bit better. It looks unfinished, and I'm not sure some extra seats will help cure that.
  19. Well Liverpool were linked, but what do they know about buying decent players these days? Unlucky.
  20. Not seen much of Diame, but I wonder if he's as good as everyone says he is. If he's THAT good, I'm surprised he was at Wigan for as long as he was, and has signed for a newly promoted team.
  21. Yeah Crouch played. An interesting squad back then, Kieran Richardson got a game, scored a free kick against the States. Don't remember anything about Trinidad & Tobago. That's got to be the most recent Saints England international.
  22. Yes Crouch was in the squad for a tour of the US when we played them and Colombia, I remember at the time thinking Paul Smith had a chance of being called up. Now look at him. Can't get a game for Forest and was out in the cold here in favour of Kevin Miller.
  23. Fourth Official has messed up. Told the world James Wallace was signing for Tranmere. James Wallace himself replies that no, he is not.
  24. Might give it a go. I tried reading Jonathan Wilson's book about tactics but it's so dry and very dull in parts.
  25. Keep Pirlo quiet and I think you're already part the way there. He's been good in this tournament.
