  1. FFS we just won at home to the champions. If that wont get you behind the manager what will!?!?!?!?!
  2. Please get off this forum, your rational and balanced point has no place here.
  3. Ramirez - great finish Yoshida - developing into a quality defender but made a mistake Fox - not even our worst left back in the prem. Bengali, colleter, van damme?? And we were drawing when he went off today. And thanks nc, the club are in a much better place than when you joined us. We lost a game of football ... But no need to completely lose your grip on reality!!
  4. Peed off, but livid? No, been a fan for too many years to go mental about us messing up - it's always happened and probably always will. And ... When the seasons ended we will be staying up and qpr won't.
  5. Yes, you, alpine and Glasgow saint. The rest of us are a bit calmer.
  6. Don't worry, if we do lose everyone will be too busy blaming fox to point the finger at you. And if guly comes on your doubly safe.
  7. He may have some valid points (though at 2 - 2 I didn't see too much complaining) but its the 'beginners luck' and 'Harry rubbing his hands' comments that annoy me. One below par performance in 5,against a good side, after our best performance in (quite literally) years, which was partly reliant on bad luck and bad refereeing, and suddenly we have a sh1t manager and are going to lose at home to qpr? Really? Hence ...over-reaction!!! Get a grip.
  8. And the award for the biggest over-reaction .... We lost to a decent and improving Newcastle (away) due to to a combination of bad luck, bad refereeing, and a performance below the high standards we've reached of late. Of course we'll lose to qpr, it's a dead cert now. As is our impending relegation according to sotonjoe. FFS, some people really need to get a grip.
  9. Reading are a conundrum. Clearly not very good with average players but they got promoted on the back of an incredible run of form and are threatening to stay up on the back of similarly good form. I hope they don't ...
  10. Sorry, but you've given them all far too many points. Qpr will do well to get 10, 18 is laughable. We will be fine, and the required points total for survival will be very low this season. 35 will easily be enough, but I'm confident of getting at least 40.
  11. A guy sat near us apparently did together with punch to score first. Reckons he won 2 grand. Fair play. Oh, and what a performance. Lambert, maya, jos, j-rod, Davis all exceptional, and cork and schneiderlin were even better. I genuinely wouldn't swap those two with any other prem midfielders at the moment. Best result in years. Well done and thanks
  12. Hasnt his dad recently died??? Maybe he's just not fully focused which is understandable IMO. He's shown enough glimpses to suggest he's a talent, but not consistently yet. I think he will prove to be a good addition in time.
  13. Why? None of us have seen forren play so have no evidence to form a proper opinion. And MP is not likely to choose the team based on a poll on here. Thank god.
  14. You're right, we are in this position, that being the premier league, competing and at times out-playing some of the strongest sides in world football, because of cortese. I wish he'd never got us out of that league one ... We used to win games there and had a great day at wembley too. Mind you, that was only after cortese came here as well ...
  15. TDD probably does, but otherwise you're on your own.
  16. Decent result, didn't lose ground away to one of our rivals and out-played them. Would have been nice to get the 3 points we deseved but thats life. This is why we will comfortably stay up. You are a tw4t BTW ...
  17. First the transfer window is a recent invention, not something that's been around 6o years. Second, the windows not closed. Most deals happen at the last minute. And third ... Best ever? Really?? Much as I'm dismayed at his dismissal, I think bates, lawrie mac and probably WGS would rank marginally higher. And some people think modern football fans have unrealistic views and opinions ...
  18. I'm not entirely sure as it wasn't written in English, but I think you're dissatisfied with this transfer window? I'm going to wait until Thursday night before drawing any conclusions ...
  19. Would you rather crouch than jones? I know the history but I still rate the traitorous b4stard more highly.
  20. Mario licka. Hard to forget his missus.
  21. An idle Sunday thread ... So we had to sell a number of players over the last few years, particularly academy graduates, and I wondered who people would like back? Bale, Walcott and AOC are obvious choices. I'd happily see Baird back, and bridge would be decent cover for shaw. Any others? There's best, blackstock, mcgoldrick and surman as possibles - none would get in the team IMO but I'd take surman as a squad player. And then there's dyer and jones. Given how he left, jones wouldn't be popular but he could still do a job I think. And I'm surprised how well dyers doing - Could find worse substitutes. What about mills or carnie?
  22. Similar - just 22 and forgot Phillips and dowie. I did get Heaney and kenna though!
  23. I mean how come they're the side investing least in the team over a 5 year period when they've had one of the most consistently high revenue streams in that time?
  24. What about arsenal? Champions league money every year ... There's something very wrong with that club.
  25. Mlg got something wrong?
