Oldham, Crewe, Carlisle, Huddersfield, Stockport, Walsall......... Can't wait!

Er no mate...... not at all interested in 19C's response. Just a suggestion, but try ignoring him. There's even a handy tool on this forum for doing just that. Trust me, it works.

Is Hoddle dead? I think a minutes silence is in order. And a reading from David Icke's book perhaps? -
Arizona mate, at no point did I say that you were being anti-scouse or making generalisations. But some on this thread are. I shall be at Hillsborough on Saturday and if there is a minute's silence I shall observe it in a respectful manner, becoming to a Saints fan. If you're there too mate, I know you will be doing the same.

You seem to have a bee in your bonnet as regards this thread, Arizona. I don't want to become embroiled in the anti-scouse generalisations in this thread. I have many good friends from that city, both red and blue.
-
Some of the attitudes on this thread beggar belief! I will be there on Saturday and I will remember the 96 football fans who died, regardless of race, creed or club. Nuff said!

You realise your mistake don't you?

Why no message from the FOOTBALL CLUB board in the matchday programme?

Shhhh........ keep it quiet mate. Don't let anyone know that this is all just a blag! -
Can't believe how fast they have sunk. I was at Kenilworth (what a dump!) 2 seasons ago, and now they are a non league side. Almost surreal.

I will be there. Getting a lift up with a couple of friends.

I thought I'd wait until this morning when I had calmed down, rather than posting after the drive home. None of the players deserve a rating above ZERO! All over the park we were incompetent, inept, impotent. Defence - non existent. Midfield - absent. Attack - not worthy of being called attack. There was too much aimless hoofing the ball up the pitch. This is never going to work. Saga is an Oompa Loompa compared to your average Championship centre back; and McGoldrick has won 4 headers all season, and those were when he was defending corners. If we are going to play the long ball game, we should at least put someone up front who can win headers. The manager's substitutions looked like they might work for about 10 minutes or so, with BWP looking vaguely threatening but it soon became apparent that we could have played for 90 hours and never scored. How many times have I felt that this season??? Yesterday's performance was nothing new. I have been to far too many away games this season and seen the same rubbish. Getting beaten by 3 goals has been happening since September: QPR - Sep 08 LOST 4-1. Coventry - Oct 08 LOST 4-1. Swansea - Oct 08 LOST 3-0. Palace - Dec 08 LOST 3-0. Wolves - Apr 09 LOST 3-0. We are currently not a Championship side. Relegation: if it comes, will be what we deserve.

I was with you at Wolves...... I will be with you until the end. Saints fans together!

Cyber applause to all the Saints fans at Wolves today..
Block 5 replied to bigdavewatson's topic in The Saints
To be honest us fans were pretty bad today. I was there and there wasn't much singing because there was little to inspire us. You probably heard the Wolves fans singing Oh When the Wolves going marching in on TV. Some good ironic humour from us though. Oh, and I did enjoy the songs about the bloke on the naughty chair. -
Is this more believable than Rod Stewart and WGS?

Isn't it remarkable how quiet this forum has become regarding whispers and rumours of prospective buyers? Now that the board members (and former board members) have gone, they have no reason to feed (dis)information to their stooges and their innocent patsies on this forum....... How refreshing! Perhaps we can all make things up for ourselves instead?

£1? Rip off!

I shall be there with the usual suspects.

The daftest, most self-centred and most myopic rescue proposal yet..
Block 5 replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
It's very rarely that I agree with Alpine Saint but today I do. During recession, the art market is traditionally one of the first to suffer. To sell art now would be absolutely foolhardy. It would not realise it's true worth at market. Here's a crap analogy for you....... If the England team started having trouble due to the current economic climate, would you be happy to see the contents of the Tower of London sold off to pay Ashley Cole, Fat Frank, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand's wages? Would you ****! -
Haven't we been here before? I'm sure someone has asked Virgin and their response was along the lines of Virgin would not sponsor a football team because that would be 'regionalist' whereas Virgin is a national/international brand. Their fear was that by sponsoring a team from a particular area it would prejudice markets in other areas, ie. no one in P****mouth would buy Virgin products. (I'm sure they all use Tesco value mobile phones anyway!)

Sat behind LC at Loftus Road this season. He was in with the fans, not off lording it. Lowe & Wilde would never do that!

Mark Fry seems to be painting a bleak picture. However, it would suit him to say that things are bad. If he were to say "I will have a buyer sorted within the week" and then found a buyer then no one would bat an eyelid. If however, he emphasises the potential extinction of the club and then finds a buyer, well, wouldn't his personal kudos swell? Remember that administrators are in business too........
