  1. I sincerely hope they don't wriggle out of all this, but i have this sneaking suspicion........
  2. Nobby Solano has not gained a permanent deal at Colchester, perhaps he is unfit or generally not up to it anymore. I would let him train with us, just to take a look.
  3. And so he should be.
  4. I hope Justin will be covering it.
  5. I personally believe they will stay,i don't think they were under any illusions of the scale of the task here and if we had gained promotion this season that would've been an almighty bonus for them. If we are still in league 1 come the end of next season then they will be off. Infact come next January if it looks an unlikely scenario that we will be in the play offs they will go then.
  6. Play offs should remain a target until such times as it is mathmatically impossible. When/if that happens, consistancy and finishing as high up as possible should be the target. The play offs were always going to be a long shot, but you should always aim high. We have come such along way both on and off the field of play in such a short time, it is remarkable to think where we were just a few short months ago. A JPT final and the solid foundations layed for next seasons promotion push will make me very happy indeed. And i am excited about the future,it's been a while since i felt that way i can assure you. Zero chances of the play offs this season methinks, but i will be happy to be proven wrong. All imo.
  7. Oh,and now they are not going to sue..... http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=726747&sec=england&cc=5739 This really is a farce. Do i take it that PFC are expecting people to take pity on them.
  8. Scudamore has his say..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8464015.stm
  9. Don't care,i don't live in Hounslow anymore.
  10. Achillies injury, could be out for a couple of weeks.
  11. That hearing was brought by Pompey challenging the winding up order by the HMRC. As it states its still pending an outcome, which will be disclosed Monday.
  12. Or perhaps he thought putting Connolly on was as not as good a strategic move as say the decisions he took whilst the game unfolded. If you get my drift.
  13. You are correct of course,if we could take someone of that ilk however......Robbie Savage please, yeah i know there are others. I will retire to my bunker.
  14. Personally,i think if we were losing with 15mins to go he would have put him on. We were not so he didn't bother. I think he was there as an option to rescue something from the match if it was not going in our favour and we were not going to get anything from the game. He wants him firing on all cylinders for Wednesday imo.
  15. Saints,50mins 30secs approx........ http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00qbcmr/The_Football_League_Show_2009_2010_16_01_2010/
  16. Pardew stated he was not fully fit and required some rest.
  17. I believe that he stated that the monies should be distributed to the relevant clubs via the PL,and PFC suggested this. I suspect however he is now disputing the fact that the funds should have been witheld at all and it is beyond the jurisdiction of the PL to do so.
  18. I am more than confident that Pardew will bring success, stability and the good times back, especially with the backing he has at boardroom level. We have come on leaps and bounds in a relatively short space of time, considering the state of the club prior. However i would've prefered Billy Davies,he was always my first choice. Don't have to be likeable to be successful.
  19. Does anyone else think that the Premiere league can't wait to get shot of them...... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-to-sue-Premier-League-over-withheld-TV-money-article290365.html
  20. Git.
  21. I believe it was Storrie that claimed that they had asked the EPL to distribute it. Right hand does not know what the left hand is doing....again.
  22. Hammond could be out for a couple of weeks according to AP,achilles injury. AP happy with the new signings today and also impressed by Holmes. AP ' Millwall dominated but 2 points dropped by us,committed performence.A neutral would say a draw was a fair result.' 'Connolly not fit and needs rest' 'We are carrying 8-10 to many players, but no interest,we still need to improve' 'Stock is a very good player, but a long shot for us as we need to reach the same valuation'
  23. A first hand account of the meeting with Jacobs...... http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/article.php?id=1284#articlecontinues
  24. We are going to score in added time. Waigo to come on,lallana off
