I'm really quite eager to take my little boy,thing is he's not 4 until December,and i don't think his attention span would last that long. I really want him to enjoy his first experience at the footie so i want to be a bit more certain he will enjoy the occasion and he would look forward to the next time. I would hate for him to be put off after his very first visit. I would certainly take him if he was 6yrs old.

It was over 10k in attendance,my cousins mrs was sad enough to que and get his autograph. I have just had to sit through listening to his album.

So,what i can deduce from the match reports thus far,we were far from impressive,struggled to create chances,lot's of huffing and puffing but too no avail. Generally a poor match and poor performance. We look difficult to beat however,which is a bonus. Musn't grumble,we were playing Yeovil.

I thought he was implying that no goals scored from open play today,i stand corrected if so. But in saying that, if we had not scored anything from open play against a really poor,infact weakened Yeovil side due to losing their keeper and who's replacement had never played in the first team before plus other first teamers missing then that would be poor....oh.

Well,bugger me,we get a result against Yeovil and all is good. Great we got 3 points..at long last. I'm chuffed we got the result but chuffing heck we won by getting 2 penalties,besides that we actually created very few goal scoring oppotunities. Once again we struggled to break a side down,we had no width and rarely tested their keeper. Apparently the season started today,according to some,well excuse me if i don't get too excited.

Skates have the worst start by a club in the prem league,that's something i suppose.

Agreed..to a point.Fantastic that we will get 3 points,but the fact that we have struggled to break them down and score in open play,to me,poses question marks. Nevermind,we got the result.

Just because your in the box it does'nt mean you will get the correct penetration to score......just ask my mrs.

I can see where you are coming from,but we have created nothing. bar getting the penaltys. Which as far as i'm concerned is terrible.
