Surely bankrupt Leicester won’t be paying his ridiculous wages? Never rated Aribo, lovely to see dross like this out the club. And even better news we won’t hear that silly song we sing for him whenever he appears.
-
I think when Downes piled in and caused the melee 100 yards from danger it turned the game. We looked good at 1-0 for 10-15 mins, well in control and Fratton was worried. That cameo got them and their players more up for it. You could feel a bit more energy. All in all a fair result between two poor sides.

Deserve what you get for agreeing to it in the first place.
-
Like him or not, Stephens needs to be the first name on the team sheet for this. About the only one I would trust to get his head in where it hurts. Obviously needs 4 at the back. Thank God no Bazunu going to Fratton Park. People clambering for Romeu must be mad. Would happily take a draw.

Yes Tonda is struggling, compounded by the stupid substitution of Fellows, the only one who had any credit today. However, I am happy to abuse the players and Sports Republic, but Tonda isn’t really at fault. He has just been over promoted, and that’s solely on the door of Spors and Sport Republic. Next Sunday will be the final nail for Tonda I suspect, we lose that game so face it now.

Dibling played about 2.5 good games for us. That is literally it. Brighton away Ipswich home First half of Man United home.
-
Surely it’s a better option to eat it at home with a tub of Quality Street and Turkey sandwiches? The game is on Sky for anyone unable to go.
-
A very left of centre one, but one of my favourite away days was Millwall in the Championship promotion party. Lambert tucked away 2 dubious pens in the last 10 mins to win it for us 3-2. The years under Adkins were the best for me. Proper football.
-
Couldn’t be paid to go to this game with the shite being enforced on us. 7am at the stadium when I live east of Southampton is ridiculous, then to be told I can’t park at the stadium. Completely ruined the best away game of the season. I will stick to dining out on being there for the 0-4 in 2019 when I could travel as I pleased.

For me it’s the best outcome last night. A win, but with plenty of learning and points to analyse for our still rookie manager. For what it’s worth I think he is spot on taking Scienza off when he is and with the score at 3-0. He if kept fit can take us up, we have no chance of promotion with him injured for any considerable length of time. I’ve never seen a player get fouled as often as him either. 6 wins in 7 and still helmets digging at Tonda. Expect you were demanding an unrealistic option or “other” as the next manager 6 weeks ago.

I saw you waving to Tonda against Leicester.

All I’ve been told is Rogers - he won’t come Carrick - literally acheived nothing as a manager Cooper - just got a job in Denmark. Carsley - I’ll give us that, good potential and probably realistic. But no less of a risk than Tonda. Then we’ve got the two ex Saints numpties. Christ that would be embarrassing. Also the poll you seem to quote has Other in second place which kind of makes my point for me. Remind me, who has Other done a good job for?
-
He’s got a job in Denmark now
-
I’m still waiting to hear a realistic/experienced option suggested by anyone. There are no good options available that we can go and get. May as well appoint Tonda until the end of the season.
-
Tonda should have been given a decent length contract full time Tuesday night. No idea why he hasn’t got the job already? Taking into consideration the shite realistic options out there I was personally never adverse to him getting it after Sheff Wed. The last two games have been some of the best football I’ve seen in a decade from us. Announce Tonda and don’t disrespect him with some stupid end of the season contract. Saints get top 2 with Tonda.
-
Arrest the clown for 20 years. Hire a lawyer to sack him. Either option is fine by me.
-
What you want served with your humble pie? Clown.
-
Told you all two weeks ago Tonda was the best man for the job. Just produced the best 20 mins I’ve seen us produce, ever.
-
The realistic options out there currently are horrendous. I wouldn’t want any of them. It’s telling that Middlesbrough and Swansea are also still managerless after the international break.
-
Ok I will admit I only said that as I’ve got him piled on at 15/2. I don’t want him at all. The reality is he’s coming in, that’s plain to see and it’s so typical of Sport Republic, might as well win some money on their predictability. He’s Spors’ man so I can guarantee he is coming in. Romeu is designed to butter us all up for the inevitable. I still stand by my point however that none of the names being branded are any good at all so for the time being he may as well take the next game. This next appointment is crucial and needs to be someone who will kick these players arses and demand instant respect. It all went downhill here when we failed to get Shaun Dyche in when we sacked Ralph. That sort of manager is what we need now.
-
Expect you are in the deluded camp that still think we can go up. This season is pointless. See how he does. Remind me, what has Carrick achieved as a manager?
-
Tonda has won 2 out of 2. Yes it’s a gamble, but so is trusting Sports Republic to appoint someone currently not in the set up. We know they will balls that up and it will be another manager to pay off. I am more than happy to see Tomda given a chance. Out of the names being listed he is no worse. Carrick - achieved nothing at Boro. Rob Edward’s outperformed him in 3 months. Martin - complete no hoper who is to blame for the mess we are in now. O Neil - no chance to appoint him, a couple of bad results and toxicity would be through the roof. Rogers - unrealistic.
-
Tonda is getting the gig, this season is irrelevant now anyway. May as well give it to him and wait for better options in the summer. Plus I piled in at 15/2 before the QPR game.
-
Thought we were poor tonight and very lucky. A lot of the issues in the last twenty minutes were caused by Downs just joging around and offering nothing to give the defence a break. Scienza is class, Still would have had him off at 1-0 so Tonda is an upgrade on that incompetent fool.
-
Should be all in for Mark Robins. The next out the door needs to be Spors. What a legacy, this awful appointment, a new deal for Stephens and Damian Downs.
