So many different scorers in the league now, must be 12 plus already I would think? Most pleasing thing is 7 goals in 2 games without Larin. The issue in the window was not replacing Stewart which would have lead to an over reliance on Larin, if we can perform and keep him fresh and rested I can’t see how we don’t make top 2. Superb value at St Mary’s currently.

Missing Downes as they are playing through easily. Attack best form of defence against this lot. Next goal is key.

Just got to get them on target against the oaf in goal for the opposition.

Team spirit looks great to me. Wood for example, been dropped, yet as happy as anyone at the end there. Great to see. Perfect night (Downes injury apart), used the squad well and some more options I think we can rely on if needed. Dobbin did well up top as well.

James Cordon will be binge eating the contents of his fridge at that Alfie House post. And the irrelevant Cambridge manager will be beside himself at the thought of Tonda not getting a ban. Roll on Sunday now.

Why do people feel for the fans? They’ve cheated and won bloody everything.

I assume the delay in Tonda is now purely because they want to throw the book at him, but realise it will make the whole Man City thing look even worse?

Absolutley ridiculous to leave him out the playing squad currently. Whilst Peretz deserves the number 1 jersey at the moment his position needs to be challenged. I can only assume there is something contractually that we don’t know about that the club don’t want to pay him. Appearance fees for example?

So he’s getting a six month ban. In all honesty, he should have been chopped in May when this happened. I cant wait to see how ill prepared Parsons is. I guess it will be about as inspiring as Lallana holding the reigns.

Should be unveiling a Danny Thommo tifo, Portsmouth have done themselves proud last month or so tbf.

That last paragraph gives Sports Republic and the likes of that cretin Parsons far more credit than they deserve. They will be caught like rabbits in headlights.

Great team performance yesterday, with some lovely goals. Downes is in the form of his life, edged Motm for me. Top without the points deduction.

I see Ballard scored again tonight, fucking madness getting rid of him for some of the dross we have brought in instead. We are really going to struggle when the likes of Scienza, Azaz and Larin have an off night.

That Miller for Hull has gone Birmingham on loan I hear on commentary. He would have been a good option, scored a Premier league winner at the weekend and a mate for Larin.

That bench just proves we need a lot more in the forward areas.

With no other options coming in other than Abbot, and Edozie and Archer possibly off, we are far too light going forward. Scienza is always likely to get smashed and Dobbin looks a work in progress. I also feel we could use the loan market a lot better than we are doing currently. Under Martin we had plenty of useful loans, and last January they saved our season with Peretz and Larin. A Scienza injury away from being left massively short for me.

Come on, be realistic. Sterling is going to prison, and Zaha would never happen with JWP back.

By comparison Sam Edozie has started 2 league games in 2 years. Granted, I thought March may have played more but he was half useful for Brighton in the Prem a few seasons ago, not bad on a free, with limited time left to find a replacement.

Edozie should have been shipped a month ago, with Solly March already playing as a replacement.

So with Abbot coming in, I guess all that remains to be seen is whether Ramsdale and Archer go?

Spors giving the value on and off the pitch. It’s a rinse and repeat of the Romeu, Lallana and Walcott signings all over again. I do not give a shit how players perform off the pitch.

Have people not learnt from the Walcott, Lallanna and Romeu disasters that signing previous players doesn’t work yet? JWP would be a complete waste of a signing. Sports Republic needed to hit the ground running this window, more so than any other considering the points deduction and black cloud over the cheat in the dugout. Yet here we are in the final week of the window needing a complete overhaul still. Defeat on Saturday and we are already 10 points behind Millwall. Not attracting sod all then.

Perfect outcome. Out the pointless cup and the board can’t deny we need a better squad after that. West Ham only tried for 45 minutes.

Villa will be utter shite in comparison to recent years if they think THB is the answer. He would get smashed to pieces in the Champions League.
