Instead of this pointless appeal have we found anyone with PR expertise yet? Still no comment from the shambles that is SFC.

I’ve taken some time to compose myself from this news, my initial reaction was anger and complete shock. I didn’t see this coming at all. My immediate disappointment is for my son, 8 years old, in tears tonight because of my own football club. Not because we have lost in the last minute, but because of the single handed most stupid decision a professional sports club has made. We have beaten Arsenal and almost Man City, two clubs we couldn’t possibly spy on due to the measures in place, that should show how ridiculous this whole decision was. The results of the 3 games we have admitted speaks volumes of the decision we have made. The club seriously needs to come out with some PR, forget appeals and lawyers, that ship has sailed. A complete refund to the fans of the whole season is the first thing that should be brought in. I sit here tonight becoming more frustrated at my own club than anything or anyone else. I want to know who is accountable for this. Assuming it was Tonda who sanctioned this he can fuck off. I do however take huge anger at the fact Hull have not just been promoted. Middlesbrough being reinstated is a complete kick in the bollocks. EFL couldn’t possibly not play the most expensive game in football. The questions I have unanswered. 1.)Have Oxford and Ipswich come out with evidence, if so, why did we admit it? 2.) Who authorised it? 3.) Are we at risk of being taken to court by our own players? Imagine running through a brick wall like they have the last 21 games, to be let down by the club like this. They have been robbed of premier league wage increases etc. 4.) logistically how do they play this game on Saturday? Hull are at a huge disadvantage now having prepared to play us,

I assume we’ve got a 24 hour delay to proceedings because the panel spent the first day pissing themselves at Middlesbrough?
-
Great news for Ross. Would love to see him score to get us up and get some World Cup minutes. Deserves it after what he has been through to get back to this point.
-
Yes, sorry. 552 and 526 are the last saints blocks top tier. Going with the lad (block 526) so prob wouldn’t have selected on the segregation if I chose and didn’t just chose best available, but it will be a good experience for him nonetheless. My mate is a Hull fan and the blocks against current segregation haven’t been sold by Hull yet, so it possibly will move along a bit if we sell before them.
-
Think that’s allocation. Not sure any left in bottom tier now. I could only get top today.
-
Answering my own question based on the marvellous AI. Maybe useful for some of you. Says we have blocks 522-547 in upper tier. 232-252 level 2 125-144 bottom tier.
-
What blocks do we have? As in what range? I picked my category and got them to auto select as was booking for a few. Look good seats but on half way so assume right by Hull fans?

What a great football day, Middlesbrough are continuing to make themselves the laughing stock of the footballing world, and Gary Neville’s lot are ballsing it up again at Salford.
-
Can someone with more brains and pull than me organise a huge tifo depicting Middlesbrough as a bunch of cry babies. I’d love to see our end unveil that at Wembley.
-
Honestly this is getting pathetic now, I’d genuinely be embarrassed if I was a Boro fan with these pleas and begging to be reinstated. Were obv going to the final, but in the incredibly unlikely scenario we are thrown out, Hull go up directly. The small solace from losing to Hull will be playing these fucking morons next season and giving them another beating.
-
You can’t compare the play off final and the repercussions of that to that pointless trophy. Plus their error is far easier to prove.
-
The statement tells you all you need to know. We are not being thrown out. They state they want the final on the 23rd and the hearing might be heard as late as the 19th. There is therefore no chance we are kicked out, as the fallout from changing the opponent for Hull at such short notice would be far worse. I would be pretty confident all 3 sides involved no for certain that the final is Saints Hull and the EFL are putting on this stunt to look serious. As usual it’s the fans that suffer, logistical nightmare now to sort transport and tickets etc with such short notice.
-
People surely don’t still think we’re being thrown out or the date is changing do they? Absolutely no chance. Unless Gibson has information he has not released, which I doubt as the press up there have leaked anything they good (including illegal information about Will’s spending) he has no chance. He will get a small pay off which is what he is after.
-
Will is going to be absolutely loaded after this. He can sue Middlesbrough and take a pay off from Saints if he takes the brunt and denies anyone giving him orders to go. Saw people wanting him to have sympathy, he’s laughing his way to the bank.
-
Starting in the Prem on minus might mean we at least beat the Derby record next season then. 🤣
-
Assume any points have to be applied only if we are in EFL? So can’t see that happening if we beat Hull.
-
I have just seen the photo and catching up on it all now. Agreed, absolutely no way should we agree to that level of compensation. Cant believe it’s getting the attention it is based on that. The evidence released today by Middlesbrough is the best evidence we have in our defence. A small compensation to them is likely I think. Read previously Derby paid them £2m for something, so maybe more on that level.
-
We’re obviously guilty. I think there is a potential problem here for us, the reaction has blown up a lot more than I personally thought it would do. Suits both parties and needs to be resolved quickly.
-
So if we get thrown out the play offs (we won’t) I assume we play the fa cup final? We can impose a sporting sanction on Man City. Clearly we will need to pay Boro £20m to fuck off!
-
Second half and extra time we dominated and won all the 50/50s and second balls. We also looked fitter which is impressive considering the schedule we have had. Stewart I thought lead the line superbly and set the tone. Bellis and Jander also class. Great night and 1 more to go.
-
Absolute drivel this. I thought our Northern friends were meant to be big and tough compared to us Southern softies? No hope in hell of us being removed out of the play offs, I could think of 100 reasons logistically why that’s not going to happen, let alone the legal rights of appeal we would have for losing an opportunity to gain an extra £200m in revenue. If I was a Boro fan I would actually be quite pissed off about this if we lose we are not out narrative, it must be very distracting. That said, one small concern I do have is the EFL will want us out tonight to make this issue disappear. I could see a silly 50/50 going their way if it’s 0-0 with ten mins to go. Lets get an early goal, 2-0 at half time and then take the piss with were in your hedge songs for the last 10 mins.
-
Great interview from Tonda. Gave them absolutely nothing both with matters on and off the pitch.
-
Much better second half when the ineffectual Larin went off for Stewart. I like Larin but that was shocking today from him. Matsuki and Stewart should start on Tuesday. Would have taken that before kick off.
-
All the pressure is coming because Larin can’t hold it up. The one time he did, he set them up.
