  1. Back in the day myself and two others were given a proper kicking in Dunfermline for being English. It was, I can assure you, a proper kicking.
  2. Just had a look at Station/Coach Rd. Now wonder you struggled with those percentages. When they get into double figures they hurt but 15% is very painful for anyone.
  3. http://www.ebuyer.com/645880-lenovo-b50-laptop-mca28uk Sorted. Perfect for a 9yo.
  4. That's a brutal descent past Blist Hills. The exit via Jackfield, whilst still a decent climb, is pretty straightforward if you just sit & spin.
  5. My nipper was plating footy on Thursday night in Stafford and a Spitfire flew over. A wonderful sight.
  6. If, by the end of this season, Jay is showing the form he did last season, he'll be off. Only an utter fool would turn down City and Jay isn't a fool.
  7. Just banged out a pacy 140km (28.9km/ph average) out to Wales and back. I forgot to re-start my Strava after my oppo stopped at the co-op in Audlem and remembered 7km down the road which screwed it up a bit. His garmin had out ride time 15mins less, average 1km higher and an extra 300m of climbing! Lovely quiet, smooth country lanes from Wales all the way through Shropshire (Wem, Hodnet, Stoke-on-Tern) back into Staffordshire.
  8. Which way out of the gorge did you go? I go in via Jackfield/Coalport & out via Buildwas or over the river and up towards Bridgenorth.
  9. Great defender, much less effective going forward but he'll learn that. He'll be as good as Ashely Cole.
  10. By 9yo has saved all her pocket money, birthday cash etc and I've said I'll go halves on a laptop for her. Any advice on a decent spec'd laptop would be really appreciated.
  11. We didn't sell MS because the manager wanted to keep him. End of. Anyone who thinks a few posts online swayed the club is an even bigger c**t than I originally thought.
  12. Buzzin Orn is using irony in his own particular style. Quite like it myself.
  13. It was to many hence all the bedwetting. It could have all be avoided.
  14. Agree totally. Naivety which sparked a media feeding frenzy.
  15. I'm not disappointed with the club over the sales, just their very poor PR and mixed messages in the early days. It set the tone and allowed the press frenzy to go unchecked.
  16. They did although it was obvious to all of us that players were going to go.
  17. They said no sales and sold SRL the next day! They then sold players before we had a manager appointed. The message that it sent out was, IMHO, why so many went into their own personal meltdowns.
  18. Think how much could have been avoided in the Board had been honest and straightforward from the very beginning instead of the walking PR disaster that it was through May/June which caused the majority of the disharmony.
  19. What a very good point that is. Anyone know the answer?
  20. So some mad old ex-pat f**kuckle, who touches himself at the thought of me in a prison shower, thinks he played a roll in the club caving in & not selling MS or JR? What an absolute muppet.
  21. I go along with that. The only time I really thought we'd lost the plot was the Chambers deal but I'm totally confident, being told what I have, that we couldn't do anything to stop it anyway.
  22. The club have played a blinder. Better than I could of ever hoped.
  23. Made of glass and never delivered. A pity as clearly a talented lad.
  24. Crikey. If we pull this one off then wow.
  25. I think Verbal has summed it up perfectly.
