Floodland may be the better album but it didn't have the same impact on me.

Totally. We knew they were off so they didn't have to act like utter cuunts.

They ignore it anyway as the Jewish lobby in the States is just far too powerful thus giving Israel free reign and the septics still cannot workout why they are hated in the Arab world.

"Big Club" clauses apparently with a price point. I knew Shaw's was £27m last September and that Chelsea had paid for the 1st option to speak to him but I had no idea of the Chambers fee but did know that Arsenal had been after him for four years. The players chat to other players, not too discreetly it would appear and thus coaches her about it. I just happen to be a cycling buddy of one of these coaches.

For JWP it's about career development and he knows, at the moment, he's better off at Saints & I know some of the coaching staff attached to St Georges Park have re-enforced that with him. I'll find out tomorrow, if I can, if he has the same contract clauses Shaw & Chambers had.

The quote was it would be reinvested in fees and wages, not fees alone. -
Training is fine, been averaging 1000km a month through the summer. Final decent ride (120km) tomorrow with a group so the distance isn't an issue but I'd like to do this non-stop. If I can jump into a fast group then sub 5hrs/4.5hrs is certainly the target. The only issues are Leith Hill and that's more to do with narrow lanes and people pushing their bikes or wobbling up the middle, and the need to refill water bottles. The lads I've trained with start either 15mins before me or 15mins after so we've yet to workout of we are waiting for each other as two of them are beasts and I'll happily sit of their wheels all of the way around!

Who cares as long as we off load Osvaldo? -
At St Georges Park he is rated more highly than Shaw & Chambers. Widely thought of as the next "Scholes".

A week on Sunday I embark on the London / Surrey Ride 100 on behalf of my local hospice. The generosity of people has been gob smacking, however, I'm still £40 short of £1000 so it you haven't yet given but feel inclined then the link is here. https://www.justgiving.com/Davidride100/ For those that have, thanks very much.

The Shaw deal was done in principal in Feb' as soon as Chelsea withdrew. They paid the exact amount that any club was going to have to, £27m. Lovrens also said he was off as soon as the season ended to they knew well before MoPo changed his mind about staying and as they club didn't appear to try to keep them we can only surmise that the club was comfortable in letting them go, for whatever reason. The major fucck up was the board gobbing off when clearly deals were done but then the board appear to be utterly clueless at times. -

I'm more and more convinced that the club were more than happy to see Lallana go and we know Dejan said at the end of the season he was going. Lambert was clearly on his way out, alas. It's the boards lack of clear, concise, non cliché ridden communications that have let the press run riot thus making the whole situation spiral out of control. -
He's just a sh11t version of Alpine.

I would of as I don't want an influx of Carlos Kickaball. We don't exactly have a great history with them! That said, every transfer is a gamble and the club really need 3/4 really, really, decent signings and no more departures at all. Not one more.
-
TBF we don't know if we are looking at a perm' LB signing before the window shuts but as it stands, we need that hole filling by season start and that's happened.

Makes more sense than your moronic drivel.

Umm, no, he hasn't. Yesterdays news that was incorrect.

I'm convinced that Chambers sale was due to the same clause in his contract that Shaw had and I believe JWP has it as well and once that was activated there was nothing the club could do to stop the move and just hadto ensure as much money as possible. I'm also equally convinced that they comfortable losing Lambert, Lallana and Lovrens and let's face it, we knew the latter two were off a long, long time ago and SRL was going to be sold in Jan' so obviously wasn't in the long term planning. Two of those three have been replaced already. Which leaves us where we are now. Do I trust the board? No, I wouldn't trust them to tell me the sun is shining but I do trust the management team and perhaps RK has tried to convince Morgan and when Morgan has said he still wants to move RK has gone tothe board and said no, we keep him regardless. FWIW I feel for Morgan, he’s been an excellent player for us and never any trouble but I really want to see the club make a stand.
