  1. Sh.it view but as per normal for norven away games, I'll be there. Always liked going to Everton (despite hating them for 84) as always struck me as proper fans, proper club & proper ground producing proper support.
  2. Let's make this simple. The officer in command lost control, opened the gates that led to the central pens. The side pens were empty. I find it reprehensible that anyone can even imply that it was somehow the fault of the fans, especially if they'd been to Hillsborough in the 80s and ever tried getting into the Leppings Lane end.
  3. Good point. They gave the small Leppings Lane end to Liverpool & the huge Kop end to Forest. I remember a game we were at up there when the police horses pushed us up against the wall in the crush getting towards the turn styles.
  4. What a load of cr@p. There has never been any evidence of that. It was a slur by South Yorks police, published in The Sun, to deflect from their incompetence. Even the Taylor Report said it was boll.ocks.
  5. More to do with having a successful season though. As a rule the NPC don't have the "Europa" issue.
  6. Confirmed now. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/newcastle-match-moves-to-sunday-362933.aspx
  7. I wonder how much the PST have spent on their bid?
  8. Pleased for the lad after the loyalty he's shown.
  9. I'd imagine that an awful lot of skate bast.ards are very relieved that they don't have to find £900 in the run up to Xmas.
  10. Fulham & Spurs now gone. Norwich available. Toon TBC.
  11. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. Dog Days. This is how kids films should be. Each one has been absolutely bang on.
  12. Thought Brave decidedly average. Beautifully animated but nothing new or emotive. 6/10.
  13. This was at Euro 2000 just after we'd beaten Ze Germans. I'm holding the Stafford flag with my oppo Brian. Used to do England home & away but just can't be arsed any more. Although may well take the nipper to San Marino away.
  14. If the do I'm £12 down. Can live with the loss!
  15. Booked mine ages ago with London Midland, so yes but as I live in the North Midlands it's easy for me. Just booking Liverpool away as well!
  16. Spurs tickets gone. Fulham & Norwich deffo available.
  17. Just read that. If it's true then that really puts the cat amongst the pigeons! Let's see how the PST respond to this & we all know that they'll be a link to BC in there somewhere.
  18. I may have been in there before.
  19. I was part of the mob that was "crew" for the handover. RAS'd plenty of booze from the T&A parties.
  20. Noticeable that against Utd that the Northam carried on singing slowly when the Kingsland tried to speed it up & eventually the Kingsland slowed down too.
  21. I'm most likely wrong. It's all a bit vague. I know the skipper died as my old man had sailed with him so that's most likely why I've got that in my head.
  22. The L/S Golly who fired the chaff bloom that the Exocet flew through before picking up & hitting the Atlantic Conveyor went gaga for a bit. The PO(EW) went on to be an instructor at Dryad. The Atlantic Conveyor only lost 1 soul, the skipper. A CPO oppo of mine was on there at the time part of the team tasked with putting the helos together on arrival, a Soton mush too boot. The Cov' was lost simply because she turned the wrong way, crossing Brilliant's Sea Wolf lock. If she had turned to starboard the AA trap would have worked as planned. It was a fu.ck up.
