  1. My nippers league had two good non-league teams junior teams in it last year and his was a brand new team. You can workout the outcome yourself. This year his opening game was against last seasons runners up and losing finalists. A better result that last year but still a heavy defeat. There are 4 brand new teams this season but instead of putting the weak, new and newest teams in one league and the established and good teams in another league to begin with they all have to play each other which totally demoralises the new teams and players when they are getting stuffed.
  2. A) Because he's a loon. B) He hasn't a clue. C) He's a loon and hasn't a clue.
  3. No different to the Westboro Baptist loons. All the do is succeed in looking like the c**s we know them to be.
  4. I know just what you mean. My wife was expecting our 1st at the time and both of us had been to NYC many, many times and felt a real affinity to the place. When I got home I remember holding her close, rubbing her belly and wondering what sort of world we were bringing this new life into.
  5. I was taking a games lessons (football with the Y10). When we got back to school my boss told me we were at war. Walked into my classroom, turned the TV on just in time to watch the 2nd plane hit. I felt sick to the pit on my stomach and cried. It sounds dramatic, but I felt as if I'd lost a loved one.
  6. Many questioned his ability to step up a league but so far this season he's been immense and yesterday I thought he was excellent again. Well played that man.
  7. He really did look like a left midfielder and not a left back and there was plenty of space for Forest to exploit down that flank.
  8. Apart from the fact that the goals came from the right full back position where Cork was playing. Still, you've always been a stupid c***.
  9. He was deffo rubbing his hamstring in the centre circle a few minutes before he went off and spoke to the bench. I said this to Corky Morris, who I sit with, that he was doing it a few mins before McGoldrick was called back summons from his warm up routine down in the Itchen/Chapel corner. Changed the game IMHO.
  10. Hammond certainly ripped into him after the 2nd goal.
  11. He was.
  12. Miller was feeling his hamstring and signalled to the Forest bench. They offered nowt after that.
  13. Sat in the traffic on Britannia Rd after watching an absolutely cracking game. Adkins knows what to change and when. Love it.
  14. Hands to swim in the middle of the Indian Ocean enroute to the Seychelles. Thick Yorkie jumps in and upon surfacing pronounces to everyone else "F**k me, it's deep"!
  15. I tend to fly into Bergamo. Lovely old town.
  16. Hardly a surprise as you are both WUM c**ts.
  17. I've never been able to get to grips with the south. Marches, Umbria, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna west of the A1 is where my heart lies but principally The Marches around Amandola. For northern cities nothing beats Parma as an allrounder but nothing at all tops Venice for the wow. Honourable mentions for Vicenza, which I like very, very much, Padua, Verona, Bologna and Mantova.
  18. Which is the point I was agreeing with you sanctimonious t**t. As for Closer, yes, wonderful album but LWTUA still has the same effect on me now as it did when I first heard it around 1980/81 and that is why I love it.
  19. Or has much more experience of travelling around northern Italy.
  20. He won't be Labour leader at the next election.
  21. It's the striker buying process that I find the most perplexing. We've clearly bid for both up & coming players like this nipper but players such as Ebanks-Blake and Sharpe who are older and established.
  22. Many moons ago, when I was planning to swap over to, what was then called "Comms Techs" who often worked out of Cheltenham, I was advised that membership of a political party and Greenpeace would be deemed incompatible with the job. So you could fight for democracy but couldn't belong to a political party that represented democracy.
  23. Good luck getting a job with that topic.
  24. I know folk who have done it, I know folk who are doing it and I've been the mentor for folk on it. Competition for places are fierce for the non maths/science positions, or at least it's like that up here.
