  1. I quite agree.
  2. Surprised how easy it proved to be.
  3. We'll go up at Plymouth. I'm convinced of it.
  4. Dune maybe a total plum but in no way has he attempted to recruit folk to commit disorder at EDL rallies from this site.
  5. We'll drive Sue. Done it a few times as the kids are easy travellers.
  6. That's where we went. It was very nice.
  7. Now that was quick! Talk about setting down a marker.
  8. Missus and I did Kos. It was very nice but hotter than hell the two weeks we were there.
  9. Roughly, and I understand it's just a rough estimate, how much for a family of 5 at Feb' half term?
  10. Stanley gets upset because I've re-built my life and have everything he's envious of and he considers it unfair. It's understandable and I bear him no ill feeling because of it. One day he may find a place where he is truly happy and then he'll understand.
  11. Fingers crossed for a Notts Co result tomorrow!
  12. I should be able to help. Season tickets linked to mine are on holiday for the Brentford game and they should have more than enough away games for the ballot.
  13. My kids have expressed a desire to go on a skiing/snowboarding holiday but I've no idea where to even start looking regards a winter jolly. They would be 9, 6 & 4 next winter and ideally I was thinking of the Alps? Any sensible advice regards the wheres and hows would be really appreciated so my missus and I can look into it.
  14. Because he has a season ticket in the Chapel with his 8yo son, Corky Morris and his two boys and Hasper57Saint. He can also be found at most away games with his son in tow. No son = no go. He also isn't interested in anyway, shape or form and these days prefers a decent cup of Yorkshire tea to an ale. It's called growing up and being at peace with oneself (corny but true). Plus, 7.5months away from my young son is something I can never replace and would never risk being away from my kids again.
  15. It was that yucky blue colour as well and he was middle aged, grey haired and looked totally "normal" but he had clearly lost the plot. The really odd thing was the way it happen betweens the lights going red and back to green. All over in what? 45secs but seemed liked minutes.
  16. Emmigration was gone through the roof by all accounts as youngsters and tradesmen leave by the droves.
  17. It is certainly going to make it very interesting!
  18. I've no issues with whatever he does. My name is David Walker and I live in sunny Stafford. I was sent down for my part in the Maze Hill trouble and was given the titualr title The Bedroom General by my laywer in court (cheers for that one!) I was subsequently banned from teaching in state schools for 5 years but made the switch to FE and retrained to teach maths (which was hard work). I'm now a HoD and have just recently been OFSTED'd again. Yet again my dept was rated outstanding as was I in an institution rated as good. I also teach PTLLS, CTLLS and DTLLS as well as on PGCE courses. I run a sussessful sideline selling on ebay which earns me 5 figures net per year and a another niffty line in "teaching" how to sell on ebay. No big deal but it's a nice little earner. I've nothing to hide and I don't really care what anyone thinks.
  19. LOL, no, she is just very good at her job and Richard, no, I wouldn't. She's a good boss but no looker and 20 years older than me!
  20. Last Friday, where the northbound Black Country route meets the M6 at J10. Asian nipper in a new Astra pulls from outide to middle lane in front of some bloke in a Maitz (sp?) forcing him to slam the anchors on, just as the lights turn red. I'm in the inside lane, next to them, ready to head north onto the M6. Fella in the Maitz gets out of the car, pulls open the door of the Astra and starts punching seven shades of sh*t out of this Asian lad, who then procedes to get out of the Astra and start bouncing around with blood pouring from his lips and nose. Maitz man, heads back to his car, leans in, and produces a wheel nut lever, Astra nipper was in and away at warp factor 9, through the still red light, weaving his way. All over in the time in took the lights to go red and back again.
  21. My boss is great. She has years of experience of teaching and managing teachers and trusts me and my team to get things done. She's respectful and very, very good at her job. She doesn't mind me challenging her thinking or orthodoxy as if allows us to thrash out, in a environment of trust, ideas and processes. All she ever asks is "are you sure?" If we can explain what we are doing/planning to do and show that we've thought things through she'll let us run with it. If she sees we haven't we're sent away to do our homework. The only thing she always pulls us up about is our/my paperwork and record keeping, which, I admit is lack post OFSTED. I've no issues working for a woman and I'm surprised that anyone would have.
  22. Don't be silly, he still lives with mum.
  23. Get a 'kin grip. What a stupid, stupid, stupid statement. I can only conclude, after reading this thread so far, that most Saints fans are utter c**ks.
  24. I'm sure Thrush gets an erection everytime we fail to win and is sat in front of his screen stoking himself. His a 'kin freak and I wish folk would stop quoting him so those of us who have thrush of ignore don't have to read his sh*t.
  25. The drama queens will be out in force but to me it's a decent point picked up as I fully expected a defeat. It is Saints after all. There are plenty more twists and turns to come.
