  1. All VAG cars share floorplans and components.
  2. I can't think of the last time I heard anything racist at SMS but you tend to hear it more from the knuckle draggers at away games but even then it's rare enough nowadays.
  3. Because in July it hardly seemed possible that we'd have the the season we've had even to the most optimistic of us.
  4. You keep telling yourself that treacle.
  5. Feb' cost us a genuine tilt at it but if someone had said to me in July that we'd finish 5th - 7th and qualify for Europe I'd have snapped their hand off.
  6. That's never going to change so it's a case of adapting and evolving with that in mind that matters in the years ahead.
  7. The winter miles are paying off as I utterly ruined my ride companions today with little or no effort.
  8. Bit rich coming from you after your antics through the summer.
  9. Begovic or Guzan wouldn't sign to sit on the bench.
  10. Glenfield Primary Beechwood Middle Bitterne Park Comp Stafford College Keele University Staffordshire University Wolverhampton University I now lecture on certain modules at 2 of the 3 unis.
  11. I reckon I'll get 5/6 days in the mountains so will look at doing 1 or 2 of the major climbs in each day in them. I'm certainly not the worlds most natural climber but I'm looking forward to the challenge. As for going downhill, the Staffordshire Moorlands, Peak District and Shropshire Hills offer plenty of chances to hit 50mph+
  12. Getting the cleats right is a mare. I had been suffering tri-band pain on my left knee. I've recently starting using new shoes and it's taken a few rides armed with a multi-tool to tweak them to get them right. No muscular problems now. Might need another spacer adding to the stem as I'm reaching a bit to far.
  13. There can be no doubt at all where the blame is. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-31941691 Many have know the truth for years yet some cu nts on here still blame drunken Liverpool fans. The OB covered it up and blamed the dead. Utterly disgusting.
  14. Regenerates areas as well. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/nov/23/thriving-potteries-the-rebirth-of-stoke-on-trent
  15. They are doing it in Stoke and it's working a treat.
  16. Just going on the house he bought for cash up here regarding price. 10% deposit on £400,000 is £40,000. Not many ordinary Joes can save that nor earn enough to get a mortgage of £360,000.
  17. The price of housing isn't an issue? Are you drunk? Friend of mine recently sold his tiny 2 bed flat in Twickenham for well north of £250,000. How is that not overpriced? He's moved up here and brought himself a fantastic family home in a great location & have cash to spare. My 1st flat was 2 bedroom, and I guess that applies to many of us but as a 1st time buyer requiring a 20% deposit you'd have to say over £50,000 and that is assuming that prices don't rise! Joe Average is never going to be in position to pay rent and save £50k.
  18. As long as we are both dead before we're dribbling otherwise the state will ra pe us to pay for our care.
  19. That's not being bankrupt.
  20. Far too many people have interest only mortgages and are finding out at the end of their fixed deals, that banks aren't prepared to re-offer them and are faced with £100s of extra per month on their repayments. This country is crying out for plenty of affordable housing but we continue to price millions out of ever owning a home and then private landlords fleece them anyway. I'm mortgage free in a few years time but fear that my kids will never afford to own their own home.
  21. It's the super rich and corporations that avoid tax that needs to be addressed whoever is in power. It's alright saying what they should pay, it's how much they avoid that sticks in the throat.
  22. I rode over Cannock Chase solo last night and in the deepest darkest part of it a couple of Muntjac deer started barking. It's a sound that makes your blood run cold and sounds like a beast from the darkest pits of Hades is coming to take your soul. At that point I found myself reaching for my trusty assault rifle. Oh no, wait, I didn't, I just sprinted like Mark Cavendish with my arse going 5p/50p.
  23. And what, pray tell, are we defending ourselves from? I live in a average UK town of around 70,000 people. We've had 3 murders in 3 years, 1 was a psychotic son who killed his mum, a smack head killing his flatmate smack head and a fella in a van, off his head, ran down an OAP in Xmas Eve. We've had no ra pes, assaults are the usual Friday/Saturday night punch ups and breaking and entering is rare and aggravated burglary hasn't been reported in years. So, again, who exactly am I needing to protect myself from with that I'd need a 9mm handgun or a semi automatic assault rifle?
