Our "rivalry" is supposeldy Pompey, but if you look at Brighton forums and Bournemouth last year, they have a far bigger problem with us then the Skates do right now. The ground was bulit at exactly the right size. We might get 35k now and again for the top 5 sides, but for the rest would get around 30k. Expansion therefore is not really needed. Selling out on a Tuesday night against West Ham when you're top doesn't equate to 40k fans queing up to get Blackburn tickets in the Prem.

I too heard have heard this exact rumour about Nottingham from more than one source. It is to be set in two areas, the Clifton estate and the more upmarket West Bridgeford.

In my opinion Pearce hasn't been given a high profile role as this isn't a high profile poistion. There is already talk that any player involved in Euro 2012 will not be allowed to play in the Olympics. So that leaves England B, and Wales and Scotland who are not interested. If winning Olympic gold isn't the pinnacle of your sport then it shouldn't be included in the games. Waste of time and money.

JPT final at Wembley MK Dons away - JPT area final.

Just got back from my trip last night. The whole ticket situation was just farcical. We had been planning this trip for 2 years assuming that tickets would be at a premium. My mate who lives in Napier went through various ballots and application systems and we'd thought we'd struck gold when we got tickets for the Scotland group game AND a quater final ticket. How wrong we were, we could have easily got tickets for either game at a fraction of the £200 we paid for each game. Loads of empty seats for the France quater final . The general feeling I got was that the average Kiwi was completely priced out of having any part in this tournament which is a real shame. Apart from that an amazing trip in an amazing country, they couldn't possibly have been more welcoming.
