Did anyone ever hear why the traffic was so bad on the Wednesday night? I left at the same time last year and drove straight into the West car park no probs. As Phil said, this year Shepton Mallet to Pilton took 5 hours! I couldn't see any reason for it. I helped some lads put their tent up around midnight and they'd come down from Manchester by coach. 15 hours they were sat on it, 9 hours to do the last 20 miles. Sod that.

My only advice would be to make sure you see the whole sight and not just the main stages. There is so much more to Glastonbury than other festivals you may have been to. Take wellies no matter what the forecast says. Enjoy, it's special.
