Clearly the camera isn't level and in real time it was obviously off. -

He is the only one who believes himself to be right. Well you may think it too but I reckon your advanced years count against you -

Of course you do. See graffito for an example of showing some humility and admitting you are wrong. -

Is the correct answer. Derry would never admit it though and yet he wonders why posters find him grating... -
Anyone who cheats is an utter tw*t. If you don't want to be with someone then have some balls and break it off before shacking up with someone else.

I totally agree. Derry was still incorrect initially though for being absolutely certain that he was offside. -

I wouldn't expect a fan in the stand to make the correct decision but as I already said the linesman is closer to the action and it is also his job. He is a professional who gets paid to make these calls so I would expect him to be better at it than you or me or amazingly even derry for that matter. -

Exactly. Since when has being at the ground and seeing something in real time trumped seeing it from multiple camera angles and with the benefit of a replay? -
How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed? (Part 2)
hypochondriac replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Precisely. Well done to adkins. He really did have to turn it around though and it looked like we were not changing. -

How is it disrespectful to say I had doubts about jos' ability to step up to the Premiership? Why is that disrespectful? I've watched him with my own eyes for a number of games and come to that conclusion. It's simply a difference of opinion. -

There goes Canada Saint rewriting history once again. If it makes him feel good to misremenber events from over a year ago then by all means plow right ahead. It still has absolutely no bearing on anything I have written in this thread though which his surely what we should be talking about. I was quite clearly talking about having doubts about Jos being good enough for the Premier this season meaning in the summer. More likely, Canada is trying to get me to bite since I said some uncomplementary things about his mate derry earlier. They like to defend each other on here you see like some itk clique. I imagine weston Saint will be on later to remind everyone who he has on ignore. You can tell who is in their little group because they tend to use their first names when talking on the message board. It's all jolly interesting. -

Yep. I had my doubts about jos and said so at the time. Much too slow for the pre. -

That's a very specific age group.

Claim to fame: I got a kiss from Lucy Pinder (she was presenting me with a signed football at SMS but that is not the point!)

I would take a draw but would love a win. We really are hitting some good form. Same team please.

Erm that isn't all he was saying was it. He was absolutely adamant that he was 100 percent offside. That was soon changed when it was clear that he was utterly wrong. -

I don't think a few weeks ago it was controversial to think Adkins' time was up. We had a horrendous start and it did really seem that Adkins was not up to it. He has really turned things around at the moment though so I'm incredibly pleased. -

I'm sorry FC but it's very difficult to show any respect towards such a patronising poster as derry. He continually makes wild statements about the team and how it should be changed and he justifies these by saying he was an ex manager as if that elevates his mad views above the less enlightened posters. Additionally the last time I made a very reasonable non abusive comment about something he had said, I get unprovoked abuse in response. He has been proven wrong again here (look how adamant he was that it was offside that soon changed when everyone said it wasn't.) yet cannot admit it. He could do with learning some humility as it would serve him well. -
My concern is how he will perform after he gets a contract from us. I'll see how he is for the entire season before giving him too much praise but he is in a good vein of form at the moment and long may it continue.
