  1. Football league I salute you. Made my day.
  2. Very pleased for him that he has turned it around. We looked pretty hopeless in quite a few games and Wigan at home was the most worrying. He has managed to sort out the defence so I am pleased and I hope he keeps us up so we can progress next season.
  3. Isn't it Matthew Le tissier? (the poster)
  4. If some religious places want to marry same sex couples then fair enough. Shouldn't be forced to marry them if they don't want to though.
  5. The players are in for most of Christmas day so I hope this party boosts moral.
  6. Shut up alpine.
  7. After a number of years we are getting rid of our old piano. It's out of tune and pretty old. We are getting a newer one instead and if no one wants it we will be getting rid. Anyone fancy taking it off our hands?
  8. Cheers. So it was a cover up then.
  9. Fair enough. So he would still have a secured charge in the event of liquidation? I'm not sure that changes much except maybe means balram will not want to settle.
  10. Nickg
  11. It would in fact be pretty easy should Portsmouth fold and leave fratton unoccupied for a few years as the land is not actually bound by any sort of law. That isn't going to happen though at least not in the near future anyway.
  12. Disagree. Chanrai will deal or get defeated in court. It's different this time as the alternative is liquidation and all the Court case is doing is determining the market value of the stadium so pkf can sell it to the Trust.
  13. I agree. Didn't we hear the actual reason from someone who was working on it on here?
  14. Just so you know kraken there isn't actually a covenant in place. It's just a recommendation pcc are following from the government.
  15. No it won't because Chanrai does not own the ground. He has a charge over the ground which becomes unsecured (I believe) in liquidation.
  16. Things could have been different had Portpin made an attempt to buy the adjoining land. That is where he messed up really. Even if he had attempted to buy it and failed he could have said he wanted to make an attempt to develop the club himself. In that scenario he could have kept his charge and got rent from the PDT. Not sure how he can play that card now when he made no attempt to buy the land and look to develop it (and possibly get the profit that may bring the PDT)
  17. Wanted by Premiership clubs but farmed out on loan to bring in overpaid players. Typical.
  18. Not linked to Saville is it? Really hope these are unfounded, had/have so much respect for the guy.
  19. I'm not sure why so many are getting excited about this. They are clearly going to find in the PDT's favour. The alternative is the club being wound up and Chanrai getting less for his charge than he would do under this deal. It really is a box ticking exercise in reality.
  20. Just reading their forums, there is an interesting topic from one of our own. They sound pretty confident.
  21. I think the main difference is that Chanrai holds a charge over FP but does not own it. I reckon in that case it is probably easier to screw him over because the court case is about setting a market value for the ground. Chanrai must then accept that valuation and the administrators can sell to the Trust who can do what they like with the land (like developing it and making a profit on what they gave Chanrai.)
  22. Ah I see. Well he has made TDD look like a bit of a bellend, especially as he didn't admit to it.
  23. Quite possibly. Still that's what should happen anyway. Many many people are appaled at what that simple vote has led to. Successive governments have just seen it as a green light to do whatever they like regarding the EU.
