Yep exactly! A footballer has an injury. It's not great for his career but he has a decent chance of being fine in about 9 months and will go back to earning more than the vast majority of people in no time. It's sad for him yes but the way some people carry on its as if he has died.
So has he not received a load of messages already then? Does he really need a ton of messages saying they feel sympathy for him and are sorry? I'm sure he is already well aware.
People can feel gutted but why do they have to broadcast that on this website? If you know him personally then fair enough but I imagine you would talk to him in that scenario.
Yep. And to be honest I've seen a load of seasons where saints have played well or finished fairly high up the league. I've never seen us win a proper cup.
The only reason I want to stay in this league is if we have a genuine chance of winning something. If we go down in say a decade having done nothing but finish mid table or below then what is the point? Look at the likes of Swansea, regardless of what they do going forward they have won a cup and no one can take that away.
I had problems with some idiot at Admiral. Bloke reversed into me and refused to accept liability. He decided to take it to court and Admiral said they would sorted but it turned out they did nothing and so the court found in the other guys favour. Obviously I kicked up a huge fuss and eventually I got to speak to the guy in charge who kept my no claims and paid out to the other guy (it was a shame but at least I wasn't affected.) anyway the point of me telling you that is that I would suggest making a fuss and speaking to the people in charge. They can usually sort things and employ some more common sense.
How is it harsh on Mayuka? He wasn't good enough and has been farmed out on loan. Wanyama maybe but to be honest I expected more for what we paid and on quite a few games he has stood out for the wrong reasons (Fulham away being particularly poor.)
We have had some duff signings in the last couple of years. Ramirez, Osvaldo, forren, mayuka. I would argue that even Wanyama has been underwhelming this year. For the money paid that's a hell of a lot wasted.
