Of course it was. Yet those who pointed it out were shouted down. We were told to wait until the end of the transfer window. We were then told that we would be fine and that most of the teams in the Premiership were easy. That we would definitely finish mid table. We didn't strengthen enough at the back and it was obvious to most people.

I'm not gloating, but I did go on and on and on about this in the summer and so many people said we would be fine and comfortably mid table and didn't need any more defensive players. It is our inaction in the summer that is the primary cause of this.
