  1. Reading this leaves me thoroughly depressed. Is there no one who has just remained faithful to who they have and stayed with their children in a loving and stable long term relationship? Or is that too much to ask in this day and age?
  2. If they get Simon cox it is ridiculous.
  3. Of course he will get it.
  4. Ridiculous that we won that.
  5. Got the girlfriend watching for the first time ever. Hope we play better in the second half!
  6. FFS Reading.
  7. An hilarious post from the admin of Pompeyonline:
  8. To be fair, I doubt Liam ha much alternative.
  9. I never said Andy is not entitled to an opinion. My view is that he acts like a know-it-all when he is essentially a child and it gets on people's nerves in the same way that it used to with buzzin orn.
  10. Saintandy is infinitely more tedious than Turkish who makes interesting replies when he wants to.
  11. They are getting desperate!
  12. Whilst I still reckon they will be ok, pompeyscot- the itk admin on Pompeyonline- has finally admitted that it may be better to start again and that liquidation is a real possibility. We have a breakthrough potentially!
  13. You paid back your tax?
  14. I'm not sure why anyone thinks this time is any different to the last time they owed loads, were insolvent and got away with it. Or the tme before that. Yes they have a proper administrator in charge but I'll believe it when I see it.
  15. I wouldn't laugh that much after our bombardment of a US radio station with the Paul Allen stuff!
  16. Rubbish. It isn't very likely at all.
  17. Yep that is how I see it. However they do it, they will find a way.
  18. Because AA did a deal with Gaydamak that he would give him those parachute payments as long as he agreed to the CVA.
  19. They must hold influence though? At the very least I would expect them to send out their top performers on loan and limp on until May. The alternative is something that the league will not want at all.
  20. And do you really think that the football league are going to withhold future parachute money if it means Pompey going bust before the end of the season? (if that really is the choice and not scare tactics as I mentioned.) Of course not, at the very least if that is the only way that they can survive, the league will keep them going until May. Much better from the league's POV to forward them some cash than to watch them go pop an leave them to sort out the mess.
  21. Exactly! Give one example of a club like Portsmouth that have been liquidated? And this time their situation isn't nearly as bad as last time in terms of the debt mountain. I was certain they were toast last time and the judge let them off because football clubs are an exception to the law and no one has the backbone to pull the plug. Nothing has changed in that respect and I'm sure TB will look to sell to anyone before allowing them to go pop completely.
  22. Not at all. Birch knows what he is doing. He would have been reasonably confident of a sale before e took them on. They have survived much worse than this and will do it again. IMO birch will sell. Whether they get a decent owner is another matter. Last time I looked at the figures and thought they were toast yet someone came and bought them. I reckon the same will happen this time too.
  23. Yep. Birch knows exactly what he is doing. They will survive, but my hope is that they get relegated at least to league one hopefully league two before they recover.
  24. They will be fine. All this is is scare tactics designed to push the price down and get them to sell. Have we learnt nothing from the last few years?
