  1. If he wasn't bothered about how he came across then he wouldn't have done the interview in the first place.
  2. Nobody is asking for that.
  3. Well the newspaper puts it into a context. If that context is incorrect and he has been misquoted or his quotes used to insinuate something that was incorrect, then if Cortese contacts them they could quite easily print a clarification. Cortese could even print something on the OS if he feels his quotes have been taken out of context. Either he isn't bothered about how he comes across (which seems unlikely seeing as he did the article in the first place) or the article is accurate IMO.
  4. Why would he bother to contact them if not to seek some sort of clarification in a future edition? Otherwise it would be pointless.
  5. And so none of the other stuff matters? I think all the other stuff is just as important, especially when going through a lean spell in terms of performances and results.
  6. Wes, if cortese felt he had been misquoted, do you not think he would say something about it to the sun? The fact he has not suggests that what was printed was entirely what he meant.
  7. Dont forget benali.
  8. Yep. Once again Steve you get it.
  9. Thanks for that sarcasm. All transfers are a risk. Of course value would be easier to assess with hindsight but it really looks to me like we are missing another option up front. If we had that option and then because of that we get better results which fired us to promotion then Jay is probably worth it. Saying a player is not worth the money based on one performance or even a few performances for burnley is way too simplistic.
  10. ffs.
  11. Just like to make the point that my purchase will be for a present, not for personal use!
  12. I'll buy one off whoever buys all of them.
  13. Yes. Matthew Le Tissier would have destroed our club. I do wonder about so called saints fans.
  14. What has that got to do with anything? The only two points I was making was that Matt had no part in almost destroying the club. Secondly, there was no way we were ever going to be liquidated.
  15. Ridiculous. Also if you really thought we would have got to liquidation then you aren't really worth listening to.
  16. OK I apologise and see what you are saying. No reply as yet. My hope is that through dialogue some sort of reconciliation is achieved. I really hope someone invited to the next season ticket dinner brings this up.
  17. Have you even bothered to read what I have written on here in the past? I totally support MLT, certainly more than Cortese. It's just that in this instance, if Matt asked for seven tickets when they were restricted, then I can see Cortese's point even if I don't necessarily agree with it. FFS this forum.
  18. Fool. Read what I wrote.
  19. I wish people would rather just be helpful and answer the questions as you kindly did, rather than being unhelpful and idiotic. Thanks again, I have sent him a message and I'll let you know what he says (if anything.)
  20. What are you on about?
  21. He brings his name up in the interview. He doesn't quote him.
  22. Sorry to start another thread but I am currently talking to Mitch Le Tissier. My recollection is that you were not allowed to purchase multiple tickets for this game but I couldn't remember. My question is, was the ordinary fan allowed to buy as many tickets as they wanted? Or was it restrcited? Thanks.
