  1. But I have tries to explain to you that that wasn't my opinion. I've tried to explain to you the reasonings behind mine and other's posts on a post match reaction thread (ie immediately after a match has ended) but you seem to have difficulty understanding.
  2. Seriously that is something like the eighth comment from you today discussing me. Am I really your favourite topic for discussion? Just put me on ignore of it bothers you so much.
  3. Oddly enough, my positive comments receive no replies whilst my 'negative' ones receive several so it stands to reason that I will make a lot more simply because there is more to reply to.
  4. What's with the constant baiting? I have explained myself enough times on this thread.
  5. I hope you don't mean me? Seeing as time and time again prove that wrong by posting how pleased I am after a victory.
  6. Following the Walsall game we had to go on a record breaking run of victories which we have never done in our history just to finish second. It wasn't expected and after that game it seemed more likely that we would miss put than not. Starting a thread linking to it following such an amazing run (and it was amazing) is idiotic and don't try to pretend that you thought that was going to happen after Walsall because it just didn't seem likely at all.
  7. It's a comment on an Internet forum straight after a defeat which made automatic promotion that much more unlikely and meant we had to do something special to get there (which we did) that I said I didn't mean the next day! It's not like I got in a fight or anything, just let off steam on here and then said I was too harsh the next day.
  8. If Adkins had not gone on that winning run and got us up automatically then in my eyes that would have been a failure and immediately after the poor result that scenario looked more likely than not. My frustration was borne out of my passion for my team and out of a real desire to succeed and see us do well. Ipswich away was one of the best away games I have been to and I was so happy during that so it's nice to see Adkins doing well.
  9. You also have to remember that our situation at that time was very different to today. Automatic promotion looked like a long shot and only a record breaking run got us there. Anyone can look back with hindsight. Could anyone have foreseen the amount we won after this? I know I didnt and if you are honest you probably didn't either.
  10. Nope plenty of things I am happy with. Training ground improvements, season ticket dinners, our style of football at the moment Ipswich away, cork signing, us taking arsenal to the cleaners to name but a few.
  11. Cheers Alpine, I actually am.
  12. Nope. I never did that. I must have posted about six times last night that I was specifically not passing judgement on him before he had played for saints. Everyone has an initial reaction about a player signing before they have seen them play.
  13. Dragging up reactive comments immediately following a terribly crushing defeat which meant that we had to go on a record breaking run to get second makes it look like you are just being a smug w*nker trying to point score. It's not like I'm surprised but as you can see I have accepted that with hindsight (hindsight being the important word) those comments make me look stupid but then I did say as much the next day. And no most people weren't engaging in a civil discussion if you bother to look.
  14. That particular defeat left me very angry because of its importance and our lack of a performance it's not after any old defeat. I was actually very positive after the recent Leicester loss and on numerous ocassions last year. I wasn't more than p*ssed off, I was perfectly fine the next day and posted on here saying I had been rash.
  15. Agree with that too. Another look at me arent I clever smug proven right thread.
  16. I have loads of fun being a fan but I reserve the right to feel disappointed and p*ssed off with the club too. Many are disappointed with last nights lack of activity in the transfer market. Is that a bad thing? Should they be hung drawn and quatered simply because you don't share that opinion? What am I meant to do, supress my feelings of disappointment along with quite a number of others on here? Are we only allowed to talk about theories and speculation which paint the club in a positive light? Of course there are going to be knee jerk negative comments after a crushing loss which made it look like the automatic promotion places were slipping away.
  17. Fantastic! I want SFC to do well. I'm a supporter. In fact I wanted them to do well soo much that it actually p*ssed me off that we had a cr*p few results and with automatic promotion hopes seemingly fading, I made a some rash comments and let my emotion get the better of me. I'm sure that is something you have never done in your life.
  18. All I can say is I am happy that the subsequent winning run meant that my initial extremely rash initial comments immediately following a defeat were incorrect. I'm really pleased that saints did well and also Adkins who has proven himself a decent manager thus far. I'm actually more pleased that he is doing well at the start of this campaign since I always said that the NPC would be the real test.
  19. It was a comment expressed in the heat of the moment and before our record breaking winning run which secured us second. I realised I had been hasty in reacting so soon after a rubbish performance and posted as much the following day.
  20. Yes I reacted in the heat of the moment after being really p*ssed off at a cr*p performance which left us lagging behind for promotion. I'm sure everyone on here is saintly and has never reacted rashly in the immediate aftermath of something (especially to do with saints where passions run high.) The next day I felt I had reacted too harshly and posted as much at the time. Feel free to continue the w*nksesh over the fact that the subsequent record breaking run made me look foolish if you wish. What you fail to realise is that I am actually immensely pleased that I looked stupid because it means the team has done well and I support southampton football club, go to as many games as I can and sing as loud as I can.
  21. No difference. I was livid because I hate to see saints lose because I love my team. I did not feel the same way the next day and posted to that effect AND we then went on a record breaking run (something we had to do to secure second and which was not obvious immediately after a cr*p result.) Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
  22. Yes lets go back months to a reaction thread where views were aired immediately after a game where I was p*ssed off that saints lost (and incidentally I did not feel the same way the next day and I believe I posted to that effect at the time.) Great thread, Canada saint is a genius.
  23. Why is beattie poison? Do you have something to bak that view up? I have met him a few times an he always seemed like quite a nice guy.
  24. Also would it be possible that hose who paid for it were kept more informed? Mike has been ignored.
  25. What has happened to the Markus flag? Why do the club not feel that the fans forum is beneficial? Is there any chance of the club and mlt putting the past behind them and making amends? Were there plans to improve our squad more this window? If there was, what went wrong?
