It's not flawed logic, it's presumption on both our parts. You presume that we got the targets we were looking for whilst I see that the quality of our signings decreased despite being linked to players of a higher quality. This transfer window will show which scenario was most likely.

That is up for debate. I would argue that the majority signed in our first season is what won us promotion.

It becomes relevant if we miss out on signings this season since the majority agree that we need some quality to achieve promotion.

Or a list of players who we have missed out on because their agent told them it wasn't worth the hassle with saints or advised them to join an alternative club.
