  1. Too many unknowns at the moment to be certain about what is going to happen but at the moment I would be very happy with 17th. It would allow us to push on the next year and hopefully attract better players as a more established premiership side rather than a newly promoted one.
  2. Ffs they are going to Vegas and then Marbella. Well that's what they said Friday.
  3. Because he is a lad always cracking onto the women and he is a good right hand man to have when picking up the talent. Honestly the players really like him.
  4. The players love Forecast. If nothing else he is good for team morale. They call him bar stool.
  5. Yep. We reclaimed it.
  6. Get in Boris.
  7. Would imagine they were aware that Lambert would win other awards so wanted to share it around a bit. Not that I imagine you are being serious.
  8. Urgh Tessa Jowell.
  9. Much of modern politics is about personality. Besides, if his policies were genuinely shocking then he wouldn't have won (if he has won) no matter what he was like.
  10. Exactly. To my mind, he is one of the only real politicians who is part of a mainstream party and he is very clear on what he stands for. His authenticity is one of his most appealing assets.
  11. The two comments were exclusive of one another. Trousers mentioned Livingstone and I said he was odious.
  12. Any comment on the alleged request for illegal payments to the administrators when the deal with Markus was going through?
  13. I'm amazed he was invited.
  14. He is an odious bloke.
  15. It's true. I personally would love Boris as leader wouldn't you? A refreshing change and someone who sticks to his principles and backs up his words with action. A true patriot as well and someone who wouldn't be pushed around by Europe and also someone who doesn't take himself too seriously.
  16. Not sure why anyone is bothered if it is close or not. All that matters is the final result. Both the Lib Dems and the Tories were going to suffer by a public who blame them for the cuts. The annoying thing is that if Labour had been in power then the same thing would have happened to them. Wish the public would understand that cuts would have happened either way and voted accordingly though the closeness of MPs in general to the media is unsettling for politics in general.
  17. Ah well. Boris will win it. Today the mayor of London tomorrow Prime Minister. I would campaign for him should he stand.
  18. Or last I believe (may be wrong.)
  19. Fairly important in the context of the thread.
  20. Ñyh
  21. It's not even going to be on the agenda for years and years so not really worth discussing.
  22. Give it up.
  23. But as we already discussed is utterly ineffective.
  24. Well yes but we aren't just paying for a blank disk are we...
