Personally I liked the fact that everything was in one place. That way if someone hears a random rumour from a friend then it got posted and everything was in one place. Bit of a shame that they got rid IMO.

Well that was a boneheaded thing to do. Close the rumours thread which I actually enjoyed reading on my way to work an replace it with nothing thus far. Genius.

What sort of player is he? Heard he doesn't have much pace whic is really what we are lacking at the moment so maybe wouldn't be quite what we need.

If true, bit of a shame that Lambert is the least fit. I think his form relies on his fitness more than any other player.

Shady unwelcoming and dodgy people are the masons. That's my experience of the ones I have met I eastleigh Winchester an Southampton. Not people I have had any desire to associate myself with for extended periods. My father was invited to join many years ago and turn it down. Having attended the funeral of a mason last year where only masons were allowed in a room to mourn the death, I am glad he did. Elitism like that is very strange.

Hope that is the case but looks like he walked rather than being sacked. You would hope that with a fresh face the marketing would pic up. If not then maybe the marketing manager is not the problem?

He has a really decent cv. Evidence would suggest that he wouldn't be absolutely sh*t at his job.

Tbf though, there are a significant number on there who don't do that. It may appear to be anti cortese because of Nick being the admin but in reality, they allow all views to be aired largely without abuse (things have changed somewhat with stu aka Boris coming back.) it makes a refreshing change.

Yep. Now whether he left because he was bad at the job or because he was impeded in some way I don't know. Would be good to find out.

The south coast club stuff, negative pr in the echo and national papers, our world renowned sponsor who erm wasn't. Agents saying we are hard to deal with. Again I don't agree with all of that (and there is more as you know), but there has been negative stories in both the local and national media.
