Predictable.
-
Surprised you have made this public Duncan. Expect to be slated.
-
As Nick has said that to his knowledge everyone who contacted him got a reply, I would imagine that the email address you ued was used by more than one person. If you email Nick directly (if I can get on theuglyinside then I will ask Nick for his email address) then he will be happy to talk to you about it.
-
No I'm not. Also how on earth do you know that NI didn't mind? Do you really think he set the whole thing up for it to go so badly wrong and **** off a bunch of people? Nick has offered to meet the people annoyed and given them details of how he can be contacted so it seems that he does mind that he has ripped people off and that he is trying to rectify the situation.
-
I too think that things like this should be left to the manager.
-
Because he already said he has sent a number of emails to an email address which may or may not have been in use... dear god.
-
But I have already highlighted a number of ways that Nick can be contacted which have not been tried yet so clearly it is not his last resort.
-
I'm not repeating myself. Go and read what I have written above. You are just arguing for the sake of it.
-
Well Nick has had no reply from anyone at the club and neither have the Echo so the answer to the last three questions is no. It seems unlikely that Nick would have his season ticket money refunded purely by chance without NC knowing. If we find out in the future that he was not in any way aware of this and that it was a simple error from ticket office staff then I will of course wholeheartedly apologise.
-
If people are peed off then I suggest they contact Nick which Nick has invited them to do. There are many ways to do this, some of which I have outlined above
-
To me, legal action is the absolute last resort someone should take if they have exhausted all other avenues. I'm not saying he can't take legal action, just that I would find it extremely sad if he does and it is a symptom of our litigious society today.
-
Has Cortese said he has not received any correspondence from Nick? Has Cortese offered to talk to Nick to try to sort it out? Has anyone from SFC tried to talk to Nick to sort it out? Has the Echo received and correspondence from SFC about the reasons for their ban?
-
Nick advertised this great bar called silverspoons which others had used successfully in the past. Unfortunately it was a shambles. When it happened Nick offered to reply to people who contacted him to try and sort things out. Everyone appeared satisfied (and presumably got a reply) apart from SaintBobby who seems to be threatening legal action (lol).
-
Oh f*ck off delldays. We don't even know what email address was used. We have no idea if his messages got through to Nick or not. Nick says they didn't but he has also requested that the poster speaks to him now and he will reply. If saintbobby registers on theuglyinside and posts in the public forum, then if Nick ignores him I would say sue the arse off him.
-
It just wouldn't enter my head to take legal action against someone before I had actually spoken to them. Nick appears happy to speak to the poster. My username is playing up on theuglyinside or I would request his email address. I have no desire to see a saints fan like Nick get sued for a mistake he made (I'm sure many on here would love it though.)
-
I believe they sent an email or two to the trust email address. As the website no longer exists and the website had not been updated in many months, I would suggest that the email address is either not in use anymore or is used very rarely.
-
I hear they are making a sequel. Perhaps we should suggest a plotline...
-
Yes I'm sure that was his intention. I would suggest that common sense should prevail here and that the poster threatening legal action should use the numerous methods of communication open to him to contact Nick directly and hopefully it will be sorted to his satisfaction. Do you agree?
-
So you won't let us speculate on the quite obvious reason for Nick's season ticket being revoked (because he voiced his opinion) yet you assume that Nick has ignored the emails despite quotes from Nick to the contrary? Right.
-
Can I also say I can't believe I am defending Nick. I think he was an idiot for the Silverspoons thing and also a lot of the other initiatives but his heart is in the right place. To sue a fellow saints fan over 60 quid FFS. I suppose it's just the way I've been brought up.
-
What a sad society we live in if you really believe that. As I told you, Nick goes to all home games (or did until this season) and a lot of away games. He is easy to track down if someone wanted to air a grievance about Silverspoons. He is also easy to find on his forum and I imagine he could also be contacted through the Echo. If I was truly hacked off about this, I would try a few avenues of communication and make sure that Nick has received the messages and chosen to ignore them before jumping to legal action.
-
Nick said that he believed he had dealt with everyone over the matter. If Boggy was that irritated, he could have signed up on theuglyinside and started a thread, yet he would rather take the time and effort to seek legal advice. What a weirdo.
-
I'm not being patronising. If you had really really wanted a ticket then you would have not gone to work and you would have got one. Everyone who took the time to queue up got a ticket. How do you know that I did not have similar circumstances to yourself and yet chose to stand in line half the night?
