I know but in an ideal world they will want a few seats too.

True. Not sure how likely he is to win.
-
Also odd because they've binned off other candidates for less. Seems like a bit of a misstep to be honest.
-
He definitely tries not to lose against the top nations rather than playing to win. He plays it safe.

I'm sure he's just gutted by a lighthearted comment on a Web forum.

I haven't called him an antisemite once on this thread. In fact I haven't called him anything other than a mentalist and even then I was referring to his political views. If someone is going to blatantly lie about me and what I've said then you can hardly expect me not to respond.

A fit Ross is less likely than a real life Nessie sighting.

1) I don't hate Muslims. 2) I have never said nor think that all Muslims are opposed to homosexuality. 3) I have already spoken about non Muslims who don't share British values. 4) I have already said that Rwanda is a dumb idea. Like I said. Lies.

Well he couldn't this year so seems unlikely. Can't see either of them playing for us to be honest.

I'll let someone else point out why this is a lie...

Criticism of some of the teachings of Islam and some of the regressive attitudes of some Muslims in Britain is not Islamophobic. Islam is a series of beliefs and like all beliefs it is perfectly fine to challenge, mock, criticise and deny all of them.
-
Of course there is. Is there any evidence to suggest that a proportionally higher number of British Muslims than the average Brit believes for example that Homosexuality is wrong and that Sharia Law should be adopted for example?

He has had a terrible injury, shown no signs he can get back to where he was, was holt and cold at saints and did nothing at Fulham. I don't see any justification for that cash personally and if he wasn't at Chelsea he'd be 15-20 million max and even then it's expensive.

Very interesting tweet from George Galloway of all people: https://x.com/georgegalloway/status/1800095086694285780?t=X51CMfi05QtbXMH-eVrUSw&s=19

Indeed and supremely ironic that soggy has been bemoaning the fact that he feels he can't criticise Israel without being labelled antisemitic.

No one said that "British Muslims" do not adhere to British values. HTH
-
So desperate to find the bogey man he's railing against in his own head. I bet he checks under the bed every night just in case there's an islamophobe hiding there.

What? I just gave examples! I've addressed your quotes before which you have provided devoid of context, there's no need for me to justify them again as I've done it plenty of times before. You have no actual evidence, simply claims you've made up. No I don't believe that British values means welcoming all those who illegally cross the channel to get here, that's insane. People should be treated fairly (a British value imo) of course and that means fairly assessing the claims of those who apply through legal means, not giving preferential treatment to economic migrants who try to illegally skip the queue. I support potentially expanding legal migration routes when we have the means to do so but I have zero sympathy for anyone who funds illegal people trafficking and endanger the lives of themselves and others by crossing the channel. Rwanda is a stupid idea I've said that before. Of course there are gay Muslims and where have I made any claims about what "all" Muslims think? You've made that up. Of course there are non Muslims who share similarly backwards views as the Muslims I described and they should be challenged as well. I'm not sure I understand your point soggy.
-
So the answer is you have no examples. What can be asserted with no evidence can be dismissed without evidence so we can ignore your claims of Islamophobia as they are entirely without foundation and you can provide no evidence for your claims. British values will be subjective things and differ for different people but as a minimum, mine would include respect for the rule of law and democracy, belief in the equality of everyone regardless of sex or other characteristics and tolerance for those of different sexual orientation such as homosexual. There's probably a lot more but that's a few off the top of my head. Apparently these are views you don't share though.
-
I'd also like to see proper evidence for this claim. It's an incredibly serious charge to level against someone and so it requires actual examples.
-
Yet you took the time to clarify and it's good that you did so. So is it true then that a number of Muslims do not share British values? You asked me for the views and then ignored my response. I believe in equality for homosexuals and for them to be able to enjoy the same freedoms to love and express their love that everyone else has, I believe in equality for women I see them as entitled to the exact same rights as men. I believe in freedom of expression and the right to offend even if I disagree with the expression being expressed. You claim not to share those values? Curious. Please provide exact details of so called Islamaphobia. That's an extremely serious charge and should be backed up with proper evidence or the charge withdrawn.
-
Support of Sharia Law, opposing freedom of expression (opposing Danish cartoon drawings of Muhammed for example), opposing homosexuality, viewing women as unequal to men, viewing white woman specifically as lesser than women of their own ethnicity. These are just some things that a not insignificant number of Muslims in Britain believe as evidenced by surveys exploring some of these questions. If you believe some or all of these things then in my opinion you do not share British values.
-
I was seeking clarification of your views which you have now provided even if it took a while. I'm glad you too want PR.
-
"a growing number of British Muslims do not share British values." A few surveys and the evidence before our eyes suggests this to be absolutely true.
-
When he answered the question there wasn't an issue. Wanging on about the evils of the far right made the answer ambiguous so glad he's clarified.
